VENUE AND DATE

The tournament will be held on 27 November 2021.

The venue will be the Jardín Arco Iris halls in Paterna (Valencia, Spain) (https://goo.gl/maps/MWWeGXCJM3jDovfr6). There is a metro station nearby, public car parks and parking is easy in the area.

REGISTRATION

Those who have sent the form correctly will be considered registered.

Link to the form: https://forms.gle/FsJSYCdEcFRZsySE6

The price of the tournament, which includes lunch, is 30€ for NAF players and 35€ for non-NAF players where the NAF registration fee will be included. It can be renewed at the tournament.

Payments must be made through PAYPAL always indicating nick and NAF number.

Paypal: oldschoolcupbb@gmail.com

If you don't have Paypal please contact any of the organization: dreamscreator, hamlet or harry27.

The menu included in the registration consists of an individual starter, first course: knuckle of pork with garnish, paella or vegan option, and for dessert: chocolate cake or apple puff pastry and a drink. If you have any allergies or intolerances, let us know and we will talk to the venue to arrange it.

Eating on the premises is compulsory, it is the condition of the venue to have the tournament there, so there will be no option to pay just to play without the menu. Coming to the tournament indicates that you agree to pay for the menu.

Those who register (those who have correctly filled in and sent the form are considered registered) before 17 October at 23.59 will receive an extra pair of special Chaos Edition dice.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

Provided there are no new restrictions, the schedule will be as follows.

8.30 to 9.15 - Registration (whoever wants to can have breakfast or coffee on the premises)
9.15 to 11.30 - Round 1
11.45 to 14.00 - Round 2
14.00 to 15.00 - Lunch
15.00 to 17.15 - Round 3
17.30 to 19.45 - Round 4
20.00 - Prize giving

The start and finish time of the matches will be strictly adhered to. If after five minutes from the start time the opponent has not sat down he will lose the kick-off, after 10 minutes he will also start losing 0-1, after 20 minutes he will lose the match. A warning will be given in advance of the time remaining to finish the match and the time on the hour on the dot will be recorded whatever the situation of the match (the organisation reserves the right to make the end of a match more flexible in very very very specific situations).

If the match is running slowly, any coach may demand that the match be played with a 4-minute time clock.

PANDEMIC SITUATION AND COVID MEASURES

We understand that the pandemic situation produces a lot of instability nowadays. Our intention is to hold the tournament on the date indicated as long as the authorities and the rules at the time allow it.

In case of postponement, the tournament place can be kept or, if desired, the registration fee will be refunded. In case of cancellation the registration fee will be refunded.

During the tournament the use of a mask is compulsory, and it is recommended to bring disinfectant gel. Safety distances must be kept, so please do not crowd around watching other matches. It sucks, and it is a classic to gather around table one in the last round, but as the situation stands this is not possible.

Before the start of each match we recommend you to talk to your opponent and agree on certain rules, apart from the classic ones of moving rerolls or dice: ask your opponent if you can touch their miniatures, and if not, we recommend you to have a pen or pencil at hand to mark where you are going to push or move the opponent's miniatures when you make a tackle.

To avoid crowds, the rounds will be passed through a Telegram group. This group will be for broadcasting purposes only, only information about the tournament and the rounds will be passed and no one will be able to send messages to avoid overcrowding. To join the Telegram group click here: https://t.me/joinchat/KDJEnvaXmm1jNzNk

TOURNAMENT TYPE

4 rounds Swiss style with player resurrection for the next round. There is no challenge round, the first round will be random and the draw will be made live on Harry27's Twitch channel also known on Twitch and BB2 as One-Eyed Harry.

Each round will last two hours and fifteen minutes. Due to schedules, possible curfews, etcetera, the duration of the matches will be very strict, the remaining time of the match will be announced in advance, and the match will be cut off at the end of the hour. It will be possible to play with a clock, with each turn taking 4 minutes. If, with half an hour left, there are more than 6 player turns left, time can be applied at 3 minutes per turn if one of the players asks for it.

It will be compulsory to play with the tournament dice. Both from this and previous editions. If both coaches agree to play with other dice there will be no problem, but if one of the coaches wishes to play with the tournament dice, both coaches must play with the tournament dice.

The tournament will be NAF and all results will be uploaded to the platform.

Trophy winners will not be entered into the draw, so that more people get more stuff.

Concessions automatically eliminate the possibility of receiving any prize or raffle.

TEAM CREATION

The Blood Bowl 2020 rules and regulations plus Spike magazines will be played with the ability to play with Team Legends and additional NAF approved races.

All teams will have a budget of 1,100,000 to create the team, the only incentives allowed, applying the appropriate racial restrictions, are: devoted fans, doctor, cheerleaders, assistant coaches, bloodweiser kegs, bribes, chef and rowdy rookies. So no star players, no wizards, no cards, no special trainers, no mercenaries, no giants and so on are allowed.

Team miniatures must be painted in at least three colours and positionals must be clearly differentiated. As well as the abilities must be marked in a distinguishable way for the opponent.

The organisation will have a digital copy of the roster, a file with all the rosters will be shared before the tournament for consultation of all the players.

To create the roster you will have to use the following excel to create the roster: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0d4rv4jpt49miq1/Blood%20Bowl%202020%20Roster%20OSCIII.xlsx?dl=1

You must send your rosters through the form.

The deadline for sending the form is the 21st of November at 23.59.

This way we will have time to check that they are all correct and on Friday we will share both the rosters, so everyone can see them, as well as the pairings of the first round.

SKILLS

All teams will be able to acquire a total of 5 skills distributed as follows: 4 primary skills, 1 secondary skill (which may be substituted for a primary skill). No more than one of these skills can be chosen per player and attribute upgrades are not allowed. They may also acquire the abilities of the Chaos God your team worships.

WEATHER

In the first round the weather in this winter edition will always start as rainy and there will be no time to throw at the beginning of the game, so that all catch rolls will have a -1. In the event that the initial kicking table shows that there is a change in the weather, the roll will be made as indicated by changing the weather to whatever comes up in the roll.

From the second round onwards the weather will be rolled as usual.

SPECIAL RULES

In the following commentary you can consult all the special rules.

SPECIAL RULES

Welcome to BloodBowl, BloodBowl fans! This is the CHAOS EDITION. Where each of the trainers will pay tribute to a Chaos God.

For the uneducated who don't know them, there are four Chaos Gods. They are as follows:
- Khorne: God of Blood, the lord of skulls, he cares only for blood and war. The outcome of the match matters little to him, as long as the field is dyed red.
- Tzeentch: The Great Conspirator, the Architect of Fate. The great magician, manipulator, he changes the fate of his players and his opponents.
- Slaanesh: God of lust, excess, pain and pleasure. Slaanesh-worshipping teams make excellent BloodBowl players, as winning their matches rewards them with unimaginable pleasures and bacchanals in the locker room.
- Nurgle: Lord of Pestilence, the Master of Plague. The lord of flies is able to give his players extreme endurance. Making them endure blows that even a black orc could not withstand. In return these players look and smell nauseating.

SKILLS

1- All teams will gain extra abilities depending on the god they worship.
2- The abilities given by Khorne and Slaanesh must be given to different players who are not F5 or higher and cannot be stacked with each other. But they can be stacked with an extra tournament ability.
3- Abilities stolen by Tzeentch can be any ability from any player, but may not be placed on a player of F5 or higher. It may be stacked with an extra tournament ability or the player's default abilities.
4- Nurgle abilities are placed in indivisible combination of Regeneration and Hard Head to the same player, up to four players can acquire this combination. They may be stacked with an extra tournament ability.
5- Abilities cannot be duplicated on a player. If a player already has killing blow, he cannot add another blow. Or if he already has regeneration, he cannot have regeneration again.

- Khorne: One deadly strike ability (+1) and one smash ability (the lifelong Twisted Evil )
- Slaanesh: A two-headed mutation and a claw mutation.
- Tzeentch: He will steal an ability from his opponent, and put it on the player of his choice on his team. This ability must be chosen before casting on the kick table. If both players worship this god, the player who won the kickstart roll will start by stealing. You may steal the same ability that was stolen from you.
- Nurgle: Four players gain the Regeneration mutation (+3) and the Hardheaded ability.

BLESSINGS

To satisfy the whims of the gods, tribute and sacrifices must be made. These will be achieved by scoring TD and killing or diminishing some attribute of the opposing player (by rolling a +13 on the injury roll) and as long as that player does not have the STUNTY skill. We know they are weak races and the Gods consider them expendable.

If you are a good Acolyte and seek to honour your God with these sporting tributes, they will reward you with a blessing. After achieving one of the detailed actions roll a dice of 6 on the following Divine Blessings table:

1- Zaaap! The gods laugh at you, while your player is celebrating he receives a lightning strike (roll D6, on a 2+ your player is knocked down with a killing blow (+1), if it is a td score, roll in the same sequence as KO's (if it goes to KO roll to recover). As long as the player did not have the ball, it is not a turn loss.
2- Slaanesh's imp: An imp with 6 boobs is distracting the referee, the next foul the blessed player makes, the referee will not be able to kick you.
3- Nurgle's Wasp: A Nurgle's Wasp stings your player on his arm, he gains the ability "Strong Arm".
4- Tzeentch's Manipulation: Tzeentch offers you a gift, do you want to open it? On a 4+ you get a second chance as if you had acquired it on the initial kick table. But if you roll a 1 he will give it to the opponent. At the end of the drive that second chance will be lost.
5- Two Faces: On a 2+ Grandfather Nurgle blesses your player with the "Two Heads" mutation. On a 1 the player loses 1 movement point.
6- Blood for the Blood God: Your player transforms into a paladin of Khorne, his muscles widen, he sheds his armour in an uncontrolled rage. The player gains Lethal Strike (+1) (stackable with a previous one), but nevertheless loses 2 armour.

BLESSINGS LAST UNTIL THE END OF THE DRIVE/PART OR UNTIL THE NEXT TOUCHDOWN IS SCORED.

When registering for the tournament coaches can choose not to ask to be blessed and just play Blood Bowl like randy humans. When scoring TDs or making injuries they will not have to throw on the board, but their opponents if they chose to be blessed will be able to throw on the board.

However, those who do want to be honoured with the blessings of the Blood Bowl Gods will be eligible for the prize of... THE CHAOS EDITION BLESSED!!!!
