Here you can see a video summary of the third edition: https://youtu.be/02PwfVU8RNg

PLACE AND DATE

The tournament will be held on the 2nd of July 2022.

The venue will be the Jardín Arco Iris rooms in Paterna (https://goo.gl/maps/MWWeGXCJM3jDovfr6). There is a metro station nearby, public car parks and parking is easy in the area.

The price of the tournament, which includes lunch, is 30€ for NAF players and 35€ for non-NAF players where the NAF registration fee will be included. It can be renewed at the tournament.

Payments must be made through PAYPAL always indicating nick and NAF number. Paypal: oldschoolcupbb@gmail.com If you do not have Paypal please contact any of the organization for alternative methods: dreamscreator, hamlet or harry27.

The menu included in the registration fee consists of -more information coming soon-. If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know and we will talk to the venue to arrange this. Eating at the venue is compulsory, it is the condition of the venue to have the tournament there, so there will be no option to pay just to play without the menu. Coming to the tournament indicates that you agree to pay for the menu.

Those who register (those who have correctly filled in and sent the form are considered registered) before May 29th at 23.59 will receive some extra special dice, in addition to the gifts that everyone will receive.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

If after five minutes from the starting time the opponent has not sat down, he will lose the kick-off, after 10 minutes he will also start losing 0-1, after 20 minutes he will lose the match. The remaining time of the match will be announced in good time before the end of the match. When the time comes, the matches will be cut off and the minutes will be taken from the lowest tables up to table one, regardless of how the matches are being played.

If the match is running slowly, any coach may demand that the match be played with a 4-minute clock. If there are more than 6 player turns remaining in the half hour, time may be applied at 3 minutes per turn if one of the players requests it.

TOURNAMENT TYPE

4 rounds Swiss style with player respawning for the next round. There is no challenge round, the first round will be random and the draw will be made live on Harry27's Twitch channel also known on Twitch and BB2 as One-Eyed Harry.

It will be mandatory to play with the tournament dice, both from this edition and previous editions. If both coaches agree to play with other dice there will be no problem, but if one of the coaches wishes to play with the tournament dice, both coaches must play with the tournament dice.

The tournament will be NAF and all results will be uploaded to the platform.

SCORING AND TIEBREAKERS

70 points for a win
30 points for a draw
0 points for a loss
-100 points for concession

Bonus points:

1 point for winning by 1 or 2 TDs
2 points for winning by 3 or more TDs
1 point for making 1 or 2 wounds
2 points for making 3 or more wounds

The tie-breaker will be in the following order: opponents' points, biggest TD difference, biggest wound difference, random.

TEAM CREATION

The game will be played with the Blood Bowl 2020 rules plus the NAF approved Spike magazines with the possibility to play with the Team Legends and the additional NAF approved races.

All teams will have a budget of 1,100,000 to create the team, the only incentives allowed, applying the appropriate racial restrictions, are: devoted fans, doctor, cheerleaders, assistant coaches, bloodweiser kegs, bribes, chef and rowdy rookies. So no star players, no wizards, no cards, no special trainers, no mercenaries, no giants and so on are allowed.

Rosters must be submitted via the form with a deadline of 26 June at 23:59. To make the roster you will have to use the following roster creation excel: -link coming soon-.

The organisation will have a copy of the roster in digital format, a file with all the rosters will be shared before the tournament for consultation of all players.

All teams must carry miniatures that represent the race they are playing with and be painted with at least three colours; whether they are teams of known brands or conversions of heroic fantasy themed minis, avoiding teams of Aliens representing Slann, for example. All miniatures must clearly differentiate the team's positionals. Do not carry dwarves playing lizard men for example or if you are going to carry the minis just glued to the base, at least bother to distinguish the positional ones (like GW Amazons, for example).

SKILLS

All teams will be able to acquire a total of 5 skills distributed as follows: 5 primary skills, 1 secondary skill (which may be substituted for a primary skill). No more than one of these skills can be chosen per player and attribute upgrades are not allowed.

PRIZES AND DRAWS

CHAMPION: Player who finishes first in the final overall standings after round 4.

Runner-Up: Player who finishes second in the final overall standings after round 4.

STUNTY: Player playing a stunty race (goblins, halflings, ogres, or snotlings) who finishes first in the final standings after round 4.

MOST VIOLENT: Player who has taken the highest number of casualties after round 4. All wounds that give experience points will count as well as wounds taken with fouls, secret weapons and public. Dodging, throwing teammates, etc. will not count. In the event of a tie, the best placed in the overall standings will win.

BEST ATTACK: Player who has scored the most TDs after round 4. In case of a tie, it will be awarded to the player with the highest overall ranking.

BEST DEFENCE: Player who has received the least number of TDs after round 4. In case of a tie, it will be awarded to the highest placed player in the overall standings.

BEST ROOKIE: Player who, being his first or second NAF tournament, finishes first in the final overall standings after round 4.

In the event of winning more than one trophy, one of the two trophies will be given to the player who wins the other, leaving the other to the runner-up.

All proceeds will be invested in tournament dice, gifts, equipment and miniatures to be raffled among the participants. Nobody will be able to receive more than one raffle gift, the idea is that as many people as possible will win. Trophy winners will not be entered into the draw except in the team draw, which will be entered by all except the champion who already gets a team. Concessions automatically eliminate the possibility of receiving any prize or draw.

SITUACIÓN PANDÉMICA Y MEDIDAS COVID

We understand that the pandemic situation produces a lot of instability nowadays. Our intention is to hold the tournament on the indicated date as long as the authorities and the rules of the moment allow it. In case of postponement, the tournament place can be kept, or if desired, the registration fee will be refunded. In case of cancellation the registration fee will be refunded.

During the tournament the use of a mask is compulsory, and it is recommended to bring disinfectant gel. Safety distances must be kept, so please do not crowd around watching other matches. It sucks, and it is a classic to gather around table one in the last round, but as the situation stands this is not possible.

Before the start of each match we recommend you to talk to your opponent and agree on certain rules, apart from the classic ones of moving rerolls or dice: ask your opponent if you can touch their miniatures, and if not, we recommend you to have a pen or pencil at hand to mark where you are going to push or move the opponent's miniatures when you make a tackle.

To avoid crowds, the rounds will be passed through a Telegram group. This group will be for broadcasting purposes only, only information about the tournament and the rounds will be passed and no one will be able to send messages to avoid overcrowding. Illegal procedure!
In our eagerness to pay homage to the old editions of this wonderful game, in this edition we are going to have the special rule: Illegal Procedure!

For those of you who don't know it, in third edition, if you didn't move the turn marker, your opponent could shout: Illegal procedure! and your turn was over immediately. In Old School Cup IV, these illegal procedures can be called, so we hope that every time you do so, you will shout out loud. While this will not result in the loss of a turn, a tally will be kept of those who have been whistled and those who have been whistled at. At the end of the tournament, the one who has whistled the most will get a prize, but beware, if you are the one who has been whistled the most... You will be out of the team draw! So don't take it lightly, you risk not winning a great team Wink

Star players, the old glories
While the tournament does not allow star players, those crappy players of today, we will allow the star players, the real ones, the old glories. The star players are those who appeared in the second edition and have not survived to this day.

Soon you will have a list with all the available second edition star players that we have adapted to the current rules. You can choose them following the same rules as if they were current star players.
