The Geordie Blood Bowl League and North East Super League together will be running the North East Tournament Series as a structured series.
28Jan - Charity Bowl - Morpeth Northumberland (3 games - 1 day)
04Mar - North East Doubles - Gosforth, Newcastle (3 games - 1 day)
??Jun - Geordiebowl - Newcastle (6 games - 2 day)
05/06Aug - Monkeybowl - Durham (6 games - 2 day)
??Oct - Block on the Tyne - Newcastle (3 games - 1 day)
25/26Nov - Monster Bowl - Darlington (6 games - 2 day)
??Dec - Newky Brown Bowl - Chester le Street, Co. Durham (3 games - 1 day)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
This is the easiest part just turn up to any of the listed tournaments in 2023 and play a minimum of 15 games. This is open to all not just those fortunate enough to live in the greatest part of the world.
HOW DO I WIN
Points make prizes, on attendance of any of the tournaments you will receive the following points these will be collated between each tournament and published on Talkfantasyfootball.org.
Individual Tournament
Top 10 will receive the following points
1st - 10 pts
2nd - 9 pts
3rd - 8 pts
4th - 7 pts
….
9th - 2 pts
10th - 1 pt
In the rare circumstance that there are less than 10 coaches the maximum received by the winner will be the number of participants. I.e. if there are 6 coaches the 1st place = 6pts, 2nd = 5pts etc.
Team Tournament
Top 5 teams will receive the following for each team member
1st - 5pts
2nd - 4pts
3rd - 3pts
4th - 2pts
5th - 1pts
Individual Winner will receive 4pts.
Individual Performance
Per game
A Win - 3pts
A Draw - 2pts
A Lose - 1pt
Double pts will be awarded in this category at Geordiebowl and Monkeybowl the long standing tournaments in the North East.
Per Tournament
As awarded at the tournament
Most Cas - 2pts
Most TDs - 2pts
Best Painted - 2pts
Spare Coach
A spare coach at a tournament will be awarded 2pts per game (if they do not play) and +2pts per day of the tournament (regardless of playing).
Tiebreakers
In the unlikely event of a tie splits will be determined by the following categories.
First tiebreaker number of tournaments as spare man.
Second tiebreaker will be games played, the high number will take the prize.
Third tiebreaker tournament wins.
Forth tiebreaker random selection.
Prizes
Cock o the North - 1st place
2nd place
3rd place
Rookie - best placed new NAF member.
Prizes will be awarded at Charity Bowl 2024.
