I'm actually considering coming over.
Teemu - do you know roughly when they'd be starting and finishing?
Trying to work out if it would be possible to fly over early and fly back late. |

It would be great if you'd come!
The timeframe from the tournament website (http://doubleskulls.arabuusimiehet.com) says:
12:00-12:30 Registration
12:30-14:30 Match 1
14:30-15:00 Pause
15:00-17:00 Match 2
17:00-17:30 Pause
17:30-19:30 Match 3
19:30-20:00 Prize-giving ceremonies
So it's a really tightly packed tournament. Naturally they strictly enforce the 4-minute rule for turns. I still suspect that some of the games will stretch to the pauses, but that's not a big deal IMO.
Anyhow, it's not starting too early so you should be able to make it, depending on airline schedules, of course. |

Theres a flight from Arlanda to Tampere with SAS that arrives at about 9am.
If I could get a lift from the airport it would mean plenty of time for us to set up some NAF promotional stuff in the hall.
I'd probably need a place to crash, because there don't seem to be any flights available that late, and Finnair don't do direct flights to Tampere (which SAS do!). |
