But my dear Dwarfcoach - who would do the 'caining, surely not yourself - you would be too drunk or otherwise involved with the Norscan Women to do any 'caining!

TO EVERYONE PLANNING ON COMING:
I'll be arriving midday thursday-ish if you need to ask me anything.
PLEASE bring your games along with you so we have enough boards for everyone. Hopefully you'll get a mail asking you as well....
I have arranged for a decent prize...I hope. Nothing major, but there will be something for the eventual champ (who'll get a bit of paper declaring him champ as well for what its worth...) assuming everything works out.

Gonna do it this evening.
It all seemed to go smoothly in the end...though we very nearly had a disaster as less than half the participants had boards with them. Lukily we scraped together enough for the 18 participants.
5 hard-fought rounds of swiss ended with the title being decided between two league mates - from Uppsala, though I hadn't met them before. After Dominating day 1 with wins of 5-1, 4-1 and 4-1, it all slipped away from Aron Frenne's Wood Elves as Pontus Ekberg's Norse took the title witha 3-0 win in the final match. Aron got the consolation of the prize for most TDs (15 in five games), while Emil Frojd's humans took the casualty award.
A learning experience for me...I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
I'm still waiting for NAF dicce delivery so people will have to bear with me on that score.
