I have to say I agree with Torg... to be blatantly honest.. (and it is going to pretty blatant  ) it'll be a cold day in hell when my little toesies have curled up and withered away before I paint a figure of any kind and leave it with just a black ring on the base.
I'll be doing my normal scorched brown mix with a jungle twist.
Sorry and all that regarding the black ring, but to me thats just plain horrible. |

Ok...since I'm still officially the organizer (since nobody clearly stated to have taken over (unless I messed something)), here is what I have decided:
According to the results of the poll (incl the black options posted) and to the obvious resistance of two people to the black ring (actually make that 3, because I don't like black either) I have decided (like it or not):
We will go with the following:
you can choose yourself between the following colors for the ring. The colors are picked because of the jungle/swamp environment of lizards:
- dark green,
- mix of dark green and dark brown
- dark brown
I know that the people who voted black might hate me now, but I can deal with that, because you are not the only ones who hat me right now. All I can say:
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings!!!!!
