I saw some real nice close-ups of minis for the legacy team. How are you guys able to get such close-up pics in focus? Eveytime I get close, the pic gets fuzzy. Backing away to get in focus leaves me with a pic that has a clear mini, but too far away to see any detail. A little help please...

if your camera has a macro mode you should use it...I also have additional macro lenses, which allow very close picture taking

OK, I have a macro mode, which helps, but not enough I guess. Did have the scratch for a camera with removeable lenses. Will do the best with what I've got.

Last big point of help ... your camera HAS to be on a tripod or sitting flat on another surface when you take the shot. With Macro mode the slightest movement of your hands will be incredibly amplified in the resulting picture.

And sunlight is your friend.

It doesn't necessarily have to be sunlight, ratter just lots of light. The more the better. Just be sure to set the correct white balance mode on your camera (assuming it's digital) otherwise the may come out tinted the wrong colour.
