The reason i used the square bases is partly because they came with the box of orcs that i converted and partly because i like the square bases because i think they look better and the poses of the orcs have them leaning forward and considering that quite a few have lead heads they tend to fall over a lot with round bases. Enuf reasons for ya!!!!
They took me one nite to convert and one nite to paint so i could use them in a tourney the next day.
my usuall paint job if i wanted them to look good would be to this standard below.
