Just to confirm, it is indeed a 3 day event. Pricing (to include meals etc) will reflect that. I know this isn't going to suit everybody, but the logistics of running a two-tier ticketing/pricing system with an option for a cheaper 2 day ticket isn't practical. We're not going to be short of attendees as it is, and to be honest we don't want to encourage an influx of (the more local) coaches on Friday evening (or even Saturday morning!).
Ticketing arrangements will follow in due course. Prior to that there will be a process of pre-registering team interest with your RTCs (which will get underway very shortly) to enable us to gauge the numbers from each country. |

I'm happy to pay for a 3 day ticket to come, but just can't take the friday off (as a teacher I'm just not allowed to). I would just like to know if there will be any chance of playing if I arrive on the Friday evening and if so what the state of play will be in regards to skills etc?
If I can play and have to start from a position of 3 games behind on skill, so be it. I'd just like to know in advance. |

Is the WC going to be a major for the rankings? |

This is not an official answer Darkson, but I dont think it is. I recall asking Woody this question months ago when over his place and I think he said that if it was, with 9 games, it could have too much influence on the ranking system. Now that may have changed since. (But I recall the Dutch guys Jelmer, Milo, Benji asking me this at the Dutch Open and I knew the answer from Woody by then, so it could have over Xmas I asked that?) |

Spoke to Woody last night and he confirmed it is not a major. It is NAF ranked, all players must be NAF members to play of course, but usual ranking policy. |

Am new(ish) to the NAF site and haven't as yet played in a NAF tournament but am definitely interested in playing in the World Cup. Have a team of guys that are definitely interested but I don't know if there is already an Irish team knocking around and if there is can there be more than one team from a particular country?
Any help appreciated.

Hi Just want to see if there is any news on the accomodation front yet as I have never travelled overseas and am trying to get everything booked and organised well in advance to hopefully save me from sleeping on another footpath |

News on this will be imminent. OMM flew over from Florida so he and Deathwing held meetings with GW and some local hotels etc this weekend. You need them to finalise some things but yes, news will be coming soon. And I dont know of any Irish team yet. |

Hi,
Thanks for the responses. If there doesn't seem to be an Irish team already how do I go about officially registering one (if registration etc has started already) |

Information regarding ticket prices, the registration process, hotel, and much more will be out in the next days... The new Tournament Director, Dave Candlish (Indigo) is waiting to hear back from the RTCs regarding numbers and reservation of our opening meeting place....
almost ready to present the entire package.... |

Quick question. Sorry if it's already been asked.
Do individual points on Friday count towards the team event once teams are formed?
Hopefully not as the players with the most points on Friday evening could get together and form an uber team with a huge headstart over the rest. |

No, team event points are scored over two days, individual event over all three. |
