I have a grip of teams
Human painted
Skaven painted
Halfling painted
chaos painted
Goblin painted
dwarfs (mostly painted)
Undead Necro (painted, not by me, for sale $100)
my list of unpainted teams
Tomb Kings
Chaos Dwarfs
Orcs
Amazon
Nurgle Rotters
Lizardmen
Vamps
Wood Elves
High Elves
Past league play (most recent first)
Goblins (summer 14 games and counting) (+ 6 games for Zlurpee iv)
Goblins ( spring 17 games)
Dwarfs (winter 16 games)
Chaos (fall 14 games)
Skaven (spring 12 Games)
Halfling (winter 14 Games)
Human (spring/summer 9 games)
We have our fall season starting in September
(We will also be running a stunty league in the back room, you cannot play the same race in both leagues)
My question is
Considering what teams I have painted and have played, and which teams I have collected unpainted ... Which team should I pick up and play next season and paint. (I will be playing the gobbos in the stunty league) |

If you don't want to paint, go with Underworld.
If you want to paint only a few minis, go with Chaos Pact.
If you want to paint an entire team but don't want to convert, go with Lizardmen (my faves!).
If you do want to convert, go with Slann (my second faves!).
In short: go with Lizardmen. |

Okay I am leaning toward High Elves
I hate LINE painting
Also any conversion ideas would be great, I like 12 different line poses
Starting team
10 Line men (700)
1 Thrower (90)
3 rerolls (150)
Apothecary (50)
start with 990 and 10 in bank
Colors
I was thinking Primer white
Wash the metal with metallic red gore (light metallic dry brush after that) (maybe orange/red lining)
Wash the cloth with blue then paint back up to white
Wash the skin with brown and dry brush with light flesh
what about the shoulder/hat feathers? Turquoise? Yellow? Brown?
the cone heads? the metallic red gore?
what about the boots? brown?, Black? Tan? leather? |
