Hi i was wondering if i can get a few opinions.
In our local league (the BEBBLIP) one of my chaos wariors has lost a point of strength, but gained BLock and Dodge. After my last game he rolled another Double for his skill roll and I haven't got a clue what to give him?
In our league we've got Ogres (Six Ogres), Halflings (Two Treeman). Khemri (4 Tomb Guardians). Orcs (4 Black Orcs and a Troll), Dwarfs (Deathroller), Chaos Dwarfs (2 Bull Centaurs), Norse (2 Ulfwerener and a Snow Troll), Lizardmen (6 Saurus and soon a kroxigor), Necromancer, Nurgle (3 Chaos Warriors and Beast Of Nurgle), Human and Pro Elf.

Hi Armydave -
I would retire this character. I know it's hard, but you need your Team Value to be effective.
I don't know what you've got on your other players, but that's quite a bashy league you're in, and it looks like some Mighty Blow/Claw/Piling on combinations would be rather effective.
Having said that, Block/Dodge is a good combo on a Chaos Warrior. But not at ST3. He's just an Orc lineman (50,0000) really.

| I'd sack him too. I'd have sacked him as soon as he got -ST. |

Hmmm... think about giving him Side Step and later on Tackle/Tentacles/Prehensile Tail. He could be quite nasty if you can get him in a square adjacent to the ball carrier.
Just a thought.

Give him Diving Tackle if you want to put him adjacent to the ball carrier (next skill Stand Firm).
By the way, I'd sack him too...  |

Tentacles would be last on my list bearing in mind he's down to ST3. |

i've got a chaos warrior and a minataur with block, claws and mighty blow who are making quite a dent in our league (i caused 12 casualties against an ogre team in my last game) so i was looking for an option that wasn't hitting based.
I like the idea of diving tackle, but i don't know if movement 5 is quick enough to get him where he'll be needed.
I also rolled a double for a beastman. What is the hail mary pass and diving catch combo like? |

Hail mary pass and diving catch combo are fun, but they are not really effective for a Chaos team.
For doubles on a beastman, I would be looking at maybe dodge, leader, jump up, or pass. Diving tackle could also be good.
I also agree with the idea of cutting the chaos warrior with reduced strength. He's just not worth it. |

Diving Tackle is my top doubles choice on Dwarf blockers but I agree you need two for coverage.
However it still gives you a 2nd option to close down opposing receivers (Blitzing the most likely one). |
