Hi:
This is my human team (The Conquerers), that I've recently finished painting.
I've used Vallejo acrylics for most of the colors (for metallic colors, I prefer GW metallic paints).
I hope you like them.
Cheers

Not too bad at all for a first team.
For your next team, I might suggest that instead of drybrushing metalic over black, try painting the entire surface with a dark metalic, drybrush with a lighter metalic, ink with brown (over silver) or chestnut (over gold), and highlite with the same lighter metalic. It sounds like a lot, but it really does not take much time, and the difference is astounding. |

One of my favorite ogre models, but I would have liked to have seen him weapon sniped and on a round base.
But for your first team they look pretty good, what is going to be your next team you can't stop at one. |

Thanks for the tips!
My next team will be a Skaven one! I'm still working out its roster and looking for some figures to use!
Cheers

It's not that hard to convert up a skaven team out of the GW Night Runner box. My friend is doing that currently and the models are turning out quite well. |

Well, its "a bit" outdated but I guess I should add that I've seen this team (and played against it) many times, and it looks a lot better than that!
I suppose the pic has too much light, thus making disapear most of the beautiful shadings of the blues and purples, and making the armour of the blitzers look rather dull, which it definitly isnt.
Just had to add those words to make it some justice.
Cheers,
A. |

GW. It's one of Galfag's Ogres. I converted up a set of those to use on an old 3ed all ogre team.
Here's a pic (flash is a bit bright, but you get the idea)
