Afternoon All

Not posted here before but thought i'd get a quick question in to start me off

I was just wondering what the rules are relating to using non GW miniatures, if there are any

If you are playing in a league, the league commissioner will set the rules. If you are playing in a tournament, the tournament organizer will set the rules.

Events at GW locations tend to require using GW minis. Events at other locations (almost always) do not have those restrictions. What is important is that each player be clearly identifiable for the position they represent. It is also important to have players numbered.

It should be mentioned that in 2011 this has not been the case with either the NAF Championship at the GW store in Notthingham or the Chaos Cup at GW in Chicago.

So pretty much anymore ... non-official figures are widely accepted everywhere. However as SolarFlare said ... your league commish or tournament commission has the final say.
