Hi,

Player A blocks Player B, who is in possession of the ball. The block result is a Push back, player A is pushed and then drops the ball because player A has “Strip Ball”.

Question 1: The blocking player A can decide whether he wants to follow up. Can the make his decision after the scatter roll?

Question 2: The blocking player A decides to follow up and the balls scatters into the square where the blocked player B initially stood, and where Player A stands now, after his follow up. Is player A allowed to try and pick up/catch the stripped ball?

Question 3: If question 2 is answered “yes”, is player A trying to “catch” or to “pick up" the ball? This is of relevance because different skills interact with the action steps “pick up” or “catch”

Thx in advance
Machtin

1-Push and follow up come before the scatter.
2-Yes.
3-Catch.

+1

Machtin, a rule of thumb for #3: you only make pick-ups when you purposefully move into a square where the ball is at rest. Otherwise, it's always a catch roll.
