For the third time: Grilling, drinking and 4 games of BB-fun:

Big Boys Battle
Father's Day May 25, 2016
Lindau at Lake Constance (where A, CH, D meet)

www.biboba.de

Tournament-Rules
• All Teams will have a team budget of exact 1,100,000 gold pieces, which needs to be used up entirely. Every team has at least 11 players, 0-8 Re-Rolls and 0-1 Apothecaries. Cheerleader, Assistant Coaches and Fan Factor may also be bought from this budget.

• Starplayers are only allowed if at least 11 regular players are already on the roster. In case both teams have the same starplayer on their roster, he will play for neither team. Attention Starplayer will be injured permanently!

• Inducements, Wizards, Playing Cards and Freebooter are not allowed.

• The current rule set of the “BB Competition Rules Pack” will be used. In addition Slann, Chaos Pact and Underworld Teams may play as well.

• Halfling teams may hire a Master Chef for 100k gold coins. Goblins may buy 0-2 bribes for 50k gold coins each. All other Stunty-teams (see below) may get 0-1 bribe for 100k gold coins. Chef and Bribes are valid for all four games and count towards the team value (are therefore part of the 1100kgc).

• Before the start of the tourney, each team needs to name on player team captain. This player needs to be from the 0-12 or 0-16 player list (lineman) of the race. This captain receives one skill from the “General” skill list and one “Adaptive Skill”. This “Adaptive Skill” can be chosen before each game from the regular skill categories of the player, even after the opponent is known. Once during the tournament this skill may be chosen from the list of skills, which can be taken on doubles. The captain does not receive any further skills.

• In addition to the skills of the captain, further skills may be given to the other players. A race-depended “Training budget” is made available. From this budget skills can be given to the players, where either two skills from the “Double” category may be taken or up to one stat increase. On latter a luxury tax will be added.

The costs for the skills are
Normal skill: 20kgp
Double skill: 30kgp
MV/AV-Stat Increase: 40kgp
AG/ST-Stat Increase: 60kgp

Training Budget:
150kgp: Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Stunty-Underworld, Stunty-Lizardman
130kgp: Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Nurgle, Slann, Vampire, Underworld, Oger
110kgp: all other teams, which are not listed
Ever player may receive only one extra skill. Starplayer may not receive an extra skill.

• There is no Post Game Sequence. Dead and injured players are healed after each game automatically. The exception are star players. They suffer every injury permanently during the tournament, including Miss Next Game.

• In case a team gets the possibilities to raise the dead they can use these zombies only during the current game and may not used for any game thereafter.

• The 4-minute-rule is basically no in effect during the tournament. After 1¾ hours of game time a warning is given, that after 2¼ h the games will rigorously stopped (even within a turn). It is recommended that all coaches have chess-clock apps on their mobile phones to check their own time during a game.
There is no Illegal Procedure for not moving your turn marker.

Prices/Special-Event-Rules:
1. Round: Sea-Quake
In case of a weather roll „Blizzard“, the weather turns to “Nice” and you roll a D8 for each player on the pitch. Caused by a seaquake the player is dislocated by one square in that direction. If this square is occupied by another player, nothing happens and the player stays in the original square. In case a player slides off the pitch, he will be placed into the reserve box. Both coaches roll alternating for each player, starting with a player of the kicking team.

2. Round: Hot Pot
The Halflings are busy cooking and try out new receipees. Unfortuntatelly, for the goulash they used black powder instead of black pepper and this may have "unpleasant" side-effect on the players.

At the beginning of each game, hot pots will be placed at the center of each endzone. The hot pots can be used like any own player, also be given the ball. The effects of the bombardier-skill are not as strong: Players hit by the goulash-bomb will fall over, but no armour roll needs to be made. For every player hit (friend or foe), the coach gets a point and the coach with the most points will get the golden spoon.

3. Round: Cheerleaders and Coaches
The assistant coaches are getting furious and want to teach their players a lesson on the pitch whenever the kick-off result is "Brilliant Coaching".

When the kick-off event "Cheering Fans" occurs, the cheerleaders are really into it and one of them forgets to leave the pitch in time and thinks to herself: "while I'm here already, I can play with the boys...."

The Cheerleader will be placed on the central square of the own half. If this square is already occupied, roll a D8 until an empty square is found for the girl. The coaches will be placed in the own right-hand side widezone (in direction of play), but not at the center line. Both will be part of each team until the next kick-off.

The assistant coaches are Human linemen with a Niggling Injury and another random injury determined with a D6

Cheerleader MA7 ST2 AG4 AV6 Loner, Disturbing Presence, Hypnotic Gaze, Dodge Jump Up

Assistant Coach MA6* ST3* AG3* AV8* Guard, Frenzy, Niggling Injury + Random Injury (1-2=MA5, 3-4=AV7, 5=AG2, 6=ST2)

4. Round: What a Bratwurst
Since the tourney is getting closer to its end and all remaining energy resources are mobilized. The master chefs are throwing a couple of brats on the grill to help out. After using a Re-Roll, each coach rolls a D6 and if a 5+ is rolled the Re-Roll may be used a second time (but not before the next turn). This can be done twice during the game.

Entire Tourney: winner
The Coach with the most points is the winner of the tournament and receives a price.

Entire Tourney: Best Player
All regular SPP (except MVP) are tracked (COMP, TD, CAS, and INT). The coach with the best player gets a price.

Entire Tourney: Most Kills
The coach of the team, which inflicts the most kills (including fouls, fans, dodges, etc.) gets a price. A valid kill is only counted if there is any kind of interaction with an opposing player. A throw-team-mate landing will only count as kill if the landing did fail due to a tackle zone modifier (you receive double points when the thrown player lands on another player and both players die).

Entire Tourney: Most Double Skulls
The coach with the most skulls during the whole tournament gets a price. The following results are valid:
- 1D-Block: Skull, RR, Skull: 1 skull-point
- 2D-Block: Double Skull: 2 skull-points
- 2D-Block: Double Skulls, RR, Double Skulls: 5 skull-points
- 3D-Block: Triple Skull: 4 skull-points
- 3D-Block: Triple Skull, RR, Triple Skull: 10 skull-points

Best Bounty Hunter
Shady elements give bounties for certain player. Targets are team captains and star player. The coach with the most collected bouties will get a price. The bounty on a team captain will always be 50kgp for a BH, 60kgp for a SI and 70kgp for a Kill. The bounty for a star player is the difference between the star player salary and the hunters salary (including skill cost), but at least 50kgp, e.g. ifn unskilled snotling hurts Morg ´n´ Thorg, the coach will get 410kgp on his account. A treeman with block will get for the same action "only" 280kgp. Bounties will be given similar to the Most-Kills-Race: as soon as the injury is caused by any opponents interaction, the bounty will count, e.g. block, foul, dodge, throw team-mate (if the landing failed due to a tacklezone ), or crowd-Push. No bounties will be paid for failed GFI or throw a rock.

Entire Tourney: Best Stunty
If two or more stunty Teams (possible Rosters see below) will be at the tournament, there will be a Best Stunty Award for the coach with the best record of all stunty teams. The following rosters are valid for having a stunty team:
- Halflings
- Goblins
- Lizardmen without Sauri
- Underworld only with Troll und Linerats
- Oger with max. 3 Ogers
