Does anyone else use the new rules for refs that appeared in BB mag #4?
We have in our group and I have to tell you they are a lot of fun. And unlike some of the other house rules we have tried these don't bog doen the game at all. It makes for a pretty nice change up from the normal foul rules. It also makes teams that always foul possiablely think twice or just flat out kill the ref! I just wondered what you all thought. e are trying to get them to be used in the next league around here.

Those rules would be in one of those rare Fanatic publications. Or at least semingly so here in the midwest US.
Across the pond you are up to what? BB mag #6?

| My group used them for the first time last weekend, and they seemed to weigh heavier when deciding whether to foul or not, but the option (to foul) didn't occur very often (too many fumbles with starting teams!) so we haven't reached a verdict yet. |

I notice that makeing that first foul to see which ref shows up is the real gutsy move  After that it all depends on the ref last match I played was norse vs orc and we killed 3 refs in the game !! |

yeah, I think BB mag #6 is in stores this Thursday. But I might be wrong, it could have been last week - I find out tonight at Veteran's night.
I've never tried them, but I want to as it will let me really use my ref minis! |
