If you keep hearing nothing from the LinCon folks over the next few weeks, Thadrin, I'd be all for a reschedule to the Goth or SydCon. This is because I hold a deep grudge against the LinCon organisers and wouldn't be able to participate if the Swedish Open was held there as a matter of principle...
Hey, it sounds I'm more dwarven than the dwarf lord Thadrin himself!  Maybe I'll give the beards a shot in some tournament in the near future! Still better than if I were to role play my team of choice tough, then I would have to kidnap and torture the organisers... Just kidding of course. |

Gothcon has a tournament...and while it'll be sanctioned I can't say I'm wild about the format. No go there.

Hello folks,
If Thadrin reschedule to Sydcon I could arrange it. I could help people with transports too. I have a car and a computer so that won't be a problem.
Maybe the folks that arranged the tournament last year at Sydcon want to do it again? But proper tournament rules this time.
There still is a slight possibility for me to attend Lincon. If the tournament is hold saturday and sunday that is.

I'm waiting on days from Lincon's organisers.
I can't get to linköping on the thursday (that may change) so we'll see. |

Update: I'm in the process of writing up the rules for the Licon tournament at the moment, and I understand that they will be released, along with bookings and so on, within the next couple of weeks.
I'm waiting on confirmation of the details of the tournament at GothCon before I post them on here. I expected them last week, but didn't get them. (I still have to actually sign up for the con as well. They could have made THAT a touch simpler.) |
