These pics are of my wife's team, and I was just wondering what people think. I really like them, but she has doubts that her painting is good enough sometimes. What's the opinion of those of you out here on the NET?
edit - rehoused pics. |

Wow. Very cool! Tell your wife that not only are her paint skills very good, but her choice of colour schemes are excelent as well. That team will defenatly stand out and be unique when compaired to lots of other orc teams.

Double WOW!! That team is VERY well painted and like BP says, the color scheme is different without being outlandish. Nicely detailed, nicely done - your wife should have no worries in the painting department! |

although I don't personally like the colour scheme, it is very well done. These figs look really nice. I wouldn't mind seeing one or two closer, more detailed shots (to steal some ideas, I admit it).
nice work
edit: added smileys to show I was geniunely impressed by them |

Triple Wow!! Avery nice team. I really like the colour scheme, totally different to other Orc teams I've seen.
Tell her she's got no problems in the painting side.
P.S. If she RALLY doesn't like them, tell her I'll take 'em off her hands |

Thanks for all the positive comments, she's really pleased people like them and slowly she is starting lose her self doubts. She says the blue was picked because it was different and she hoped they wouldn't come accross as your typical Orc team. We are much more of the mind that the game should be set in the future of the warhammer world as per 'old' Bloodbowl than set in current warhammer world times. So she went for a American Football style theme and it seems to have worked.
The team isn't doing too bad as yet either, two wins for a loss, and she's getting into Bloodbowl so much she has two more teams in the planning stage, an unnamed Chaos Team, and the Salzenmund Stoats a Human team.
If I can get em finished I'll probably post my own Darkside Sirens team here too. Which is an expansion on the idea of the old fluff about the Darkside Cowboys cheerleaders occasionally playing for the Cowboys and I'm using the Shadowforge Elf team as the base. |

Great Job! Tell your wife she has nothing to worry about. Now lets see some of your teams so we can compare. |

Looks you posted while I was Ben
As to my team, will be trying, problem is all my current painted teams where from when I painted em about 12years ago so are no comparrison to my current painting syle.
I'll either get my Sirens up here soon, or my latest team. The Xlanhuapec Salamanders, a Lizardmen team brought as a christmas prezzie from the wife. |

That team looks very nice, although I'm sure Neo will be around shortly to say that the Orcs should have been painted blue

I was impressed. I'm sure the team that the Orcs beat up and took the blue uniforms from where too. |

I agree. the paint is really good, despite the colors. I think that he colors are too happy for an orc team. but this is about paint, and the paint is great. |
