I want to run a NAF sanctioned tournament in East Anglia, possibly using the Battle Bunker at Ipswich, or maybe a large hall in Cambridge. If anyone is interested, please email/PM me or leave a vote on here for your preference |

I think Cambridge has to be better for most...tractor boys and those arriving via ferry at Harwich aside... |

not yet, but because the BB is in march (less than a week!!) and the Bearded Snot in May, I figured July or August. Those months have the problem that many people are on holiday though... not that I think that would put off many devoted players though!
I've already managed to drum up some support for our store league from the GW store manager, and since a good few GW staff are into BB then we should have a reasonable level of support. might even be able to wangle some prizes out of them!
will need to think of a snappy name for it though
I had thought about naming it the Orca-Cola Cup, with the winner getting, amongst other things, a 2 litre bottle of Coke relabelled using an Orca-Cola image I've got
Any ideas? Something tractor/mustard/countryside related perhaps? |

July: It's the WPS BB GT on the 5/6th, and there's the Tulips Invitational a fortnight later on the 19th/20th. 3 in a month is probably one too many for me financially. |

I see Deathwing's point, but from a personal perspective choice between WPS (bristol(?)) and Cambridge - cambridge is much nearer, so would be my preference. Plus 'invitational' sounds a bit exclusive for me. So I expect you'd still get interest from us not so hardcore plebs. |

I still think spreading them out is a good idea, after all we're in no rush to fit them in before christmas or anything
I will use august for a preliminary month, and look round for places in Cambridge to do it, as well as talk to the manager at GW and the regional manager to see what involvement we can get from them (read: prizes) |

Ok, sounds fine.
Enjoyed the bloodbowl so much I'm going to have to give serious consideration to this WPS thingy.
Get some nice prizes...maybe some limited edition sh*t looking coins?! |

dammit you've stolen my plan
was going to get a whole load of 2p pieces, file them flat and sculpt a turd on them. After building up some anticipation I thought I could give you all one before you left...
How about the "Bernard Matthews Golden Drumstick Trophy"? |

But who would have the balls to try and sell some sh*t like that for £400?!
My tournament attendance is being constantly buggered about by travelling companions and something about me never spending time at home. Hopefully make 2 more this year..help fuel my addicition. |
