Hi there,
I just wanted to introduce two of my favorite Big Guys.
Please welcome, from the deepest forest in Canada: Mr. Maple Syrup...
and from the muddiest swamp of the Old World: Mr. Schreck Lich:
Unless you are on their team it is advised to keep a safe distance
Let me know what you think |

I don't know what I'm doing wrong (maybe somebody can tell me), but sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't.
Try this link:

Hope at least the link works

[edit] These are too good not to have show up here - I put them up temporarily on the OMM site so you could share them easier, Tors:

Yahoo is what you're doing wrong. I use them and have the same problem. |

Hey, a few days in the Florida sun plus Blood Bowl plus meeting Jake Thornton, the new BB head at GW, how much more of a argument do you need?
Seriously I hope to see you not just to take revenge on your Dwarves but to share what I think is going to be a really good time...
Hope you can make it!

Wicked job on the treeman. I'm working on one now, and it's the hardest paint job I've ever had. It's like there's twice the surface area of any other mini. I've been searching around for a painting guide for them, but found only a few photos out there, and everyone does them differently! There are trees all around, but none of them look like a treeman. It's winter so all the trees are greyish, but I figure a treeman (particularly one that plays Blood Bowl) would be slightly greenish. I like how you added leaves over his head, a treeman has to eat!
One thing about the treeman mini: If he's wearing wooden shoulder pads, wouldn't that be like a human wearing pads made out of flesh? |

Yes, that would be the same thing. You see, living amongst wussy Wood Elves drives any Treeman insane (and can you blame them?)
Nice jobs!

Thanks Boblo ,
I'm working on a second treeman right now...it will look like a birch tree...that's 10x harder than the maple treeman. A birch tree has a smooth surface, is mostly white with a few black spots.....the trick is not to make a dalmation dog out of the treeman.
Oh by the way......the "leaves" are not for him to eat....it's his "hair"
Oh, I meant that being treelike as he is, he probably gets his energy, eating, through his leaves, and he'd drink through his toes too. That mouth would probably be just for talking and swallowing stunties recreationallly.
You're brave to try a birch treeman. If I can get the treeman that I'm doing to look vaguely black walnutish, the next I'll try will be a willow. I want to make branches that look like dreadlocks. |
