Hello all.

This is an advance notice of an upcoming tournament in Wellington New Zealand.

Now that I'm finally a NAF member I can make it a proper NAF tournament, so the few NZ members can finally get soem points on the boards.

At this stage I'm planning it for late march or Early april, in Wellington. Will be a2 day event, 7 games in all (4 Sat 3 Sun). Using standard tournament rules, including the recent rules reviews for piling on and Wild Animal etc.

I'll be talking to Babs inthe very near future about officially officialising it so stay tuned.

If anyone wants to contact me my email is:

citygamesclub@hotmail.com

Cheers. Damon.

Hi -

I'm in Christchurch now, but would be prepared to come up to Wellington for a tournament, as long as I have no conflict with the dates.

Late March would be much better for me than early April.

Let me know your dates ASAP.

And please get in touch with the Auckland Blood Bowl Federation at www.solitudo.com/bloodbowl if you have not done so already.

Cheers, and long live Blood Bowl!

Smeborg the Fleshless

Thanks, Babs, I take that as a supreme compliment, since it's about 15 years since anyone called me slim.

Smeborg the Fleshless is actually the coach of my Undead team, but his origins are a bit of a mystery. He first appeared at the hands of one of my friends in a role playing game (Empire of the Petal Throne) in the 1970s. What my friend's inspiration was for him, I know not.

Cheers

Hi,

Im from the City Guard in Auckland and play weekly in their ABBF league.
Awesome to hear about the upcoming tourny in Windy Wellington! I could not make it to the recent Greenstone Cup in AKL, so I am doubley keen to come down. I will let all the lads in the ABBF know and we will try to organise a road trip to bring down a good amount of coaches.

Pls let us know with dates asap so we can book rooms etc.
Cheers,
DM.

Has this tournie happened already?

Greenstone Cup is all on for 6-7 August in Auckland. See tournament section.

If Wellington event is going to happen at some point then let me know. As ever keen.
