Here is the first of my newly painted Dark Elf Team
the photo is a bit rubbish because I took it in direct sunlight
10 more to go before May! |

Looks cool! Like the fiery red look. |

Nice look, but frankly I would have painted the gloves the same colour as the trousers, giving the upper body more contrast. Helmet, shoulder pads and gloves together in red do look a little one sided. |

The photo doesn't show up the contrast very well (too much light)
the gloves and boots a noticibly darker than the armour parts |

well I've started now so I thought I'd keep posting them as they get painted
I rushed this one I think (the one on the left), a few things I think I missed but I don't have time to go back and fix them, must continue on with the others.
I also painted a ball, so I finally have one to use in a touny rather than hoping my opponant has one
Going to take a break from Line-elves and paint a Blitzer next |

I like the ball as well. I need to paint up some of the extra balls I have around in team colours.

well I've been a bit lazy this week and only finished 1 blitzer
I may have overdone the varnish and it is still a bit wet but you get the idea
I painted the skull plate armour the same colour as the chest skulls on the line elves, not sure if it was the right decision but too late now |

I think it was the right decision. Kind of makes him look like a "higher rank," per se. "My skull is bigger."
Looks good.
