Okay, just a thought and I'll probably get flamed for it, but here it goes:
After looking through BB Mag 5 (Worlds Edge Superleague) and CJ 46 (Clan Bowl). I got to wondering why there hasn't been rules for a human only league. Empire, Brettonian, and Kislev Teams (maybe some Mordheim based teams; Reiklander, Ostlanders, Middenheimers) |

| but seriously now, it's a nice idea, but there are no good rules for other human teams yet. I saw some for border princes, kislev etc lots of times, but they weren't exactly balanced |

That's why I didn't even attempt to make up teams, I don't have the knowledge base of Warhammer/ Mordheim to do a good job at it.
Although, there was a Kislev team posted on the Blood Bowl Yahoo! group, but you'd HAVE TO USE the kicking rules:
*Kislev Team*
0-12 60K Linemen, 5338, sidestep, G
0-4 90K Cossack Blockers, 5339, block+tackle, G+ST
0-2 90K Wings, 6338, catch+passblock, G+AG
0-2 70K Kickers, 6338, kick+punt(Hail Mary Punt), G
Apothecary, Wizard, ReRolls 40K
I haven't tried it, but I liked the idea of a Baltimore Ravens/ Tampa Bay Bucs style team. Strong Defense and then line up the game winning kick on the last drive. That was the idea of this team; bend don't break. How well it plays is a different story.
I know there are some Brettonian rosters out there for discussion- alright ARGUEMENT (discussion is too nice of a word).
And I believe the standard Human Roster is considered by some to be the Empire team. I don't even no where or how to work some of the Mordheim stuff; Ostlanders, Reiklanders, and Middenheimers, etc.,etc.. |

0-16 lineman 50k (all start with niggling injuries)

| No flavor to it. Every team is basically the same. I was looking for something different within the race- like with Clan Bowl and The Dwarf League. |

Looking through the Mordheim section of GW's website shows enough differences to make several different teams. Just from the little blurp you can gather the following.
REIKLANDER; Good Throwers (archers), High AV
MIDDENHEIMER; Big Strong and foul.
MARIENBURG; ??? Not much there.
AVERLAND; Flamboyant, Halflings on the roster
OSTERLANDERS; Drunken Brawlers, Defensive, Orge Allies
KISLEV; Drinkers, Defensive (already a couple rosters out there.) Gotta have the a Bear Tamer skill and the Bear (Secret Weapon).
BRETTONIAN; do I even want to open that can of worms.
Right there is six (can't count Marienburg- no info) distinctively different warbands/ armies that could be translated into different rosters for a human only league. |

| Valkyrie and Sisterhood teams too, but I was just thinking of newer regional teams. Just like each Clan is different,so is each region. |

| I was looking at the new Kislev minis for Mordhiem, they would make great conversions for BB, they even have a bear to use as a BG. |

I kinda figured the bear for a secret weapon, not a big guy. Stats to follow once I work 'em out. ROUGHLY something like;
4/5/1/8 Wild Animal, Bonehead, Razor Sharp Claws, and Frenzy
Cost: 70k Penalty Roll: 7+ |

| Those look like big guy stats to me and I don't think you need the bonehead if you have wild animal, just my opinion. |

| Those kinda are big guy stats, but he can't earn any SPP's or other skills. Probably should add a BEAR HUG skill to the mix. Bonehead or really stupid would probably apply because it is just a bear and would need direction from a tamer for what to do. This is all off the cuff, I need to sit down and look through the skills and figure out what would best apply. But, again I think the bear shouldn't be able to earn SPP's and gain more skills. |

| I'm still rusty and not up to speed yet, but do you have to pay for the secret weapon for every game because I thought it was a one time purchase unless it was confiscated??? If you have to pay for him each match, then I'd change the Bear to a big guy from a secret weapon. |
