Happy Birthday by the way |

It's not so much a matter of being suckerd in...
1) She's due in 6-8 weeks, so I have the options of agreeing or relocating
2) She took me out shopping for a B-day present
3) Halloween unexpectedly became a family visitation nightmare
4) Don't forget I was drunk for most of Saturday, my auto focus was completely disabled. |

If anyone hears something of fanatic, please post it here.
because they only send a message to the people that become chosen.
so the rest don't have to wait for the rest of november in tension

Just when you thought all hope was lost for this scheme!! Received this email from fanatic today:
=============
Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the delayed response regarding the Fanatic painting scheme. This was due to a lot of changes to the way the Fanatic Dept works during November and December 04.
Anyway, I'm pleased to tell you that we would like to use your services as a painter in the future. As mentioned at the time whenever we receive samples of models we will send them to the painters of the relevant systems. All you have to do is paint the models up during the next two months and send them back to us to take pictures of. Once we've taken some pictures we'll ship the models back to you to keep. Yep, that's right, they're yours to own!
Whilst the frequency in which we use you may not be as high as when we first thought about implementing this scheme (due to the recent changes) we still wish to make use of your services. We hope to get some models out to you within the next few months. I'll be contacting you nearer the time with more specific details.
If you have any questions or you now don't feel you can commit then please send me an email.
Thanks again for being so patient and welcome to the Fanatic scheme.
=============
Great news to see the scheme is still up and running even if it's in a reduced form, even better news for me! Anyone else heard from them?? |

Congratulations. I hope they send you something nice.
My entry got bounced repeatedly. I have an unusually determined email delivery system that kept trying to deliver it for weeks, finally giving up about 5 days after the deadline.
I sent them an angry email complaining about the delivery problems to Fanatic's feedback address and that went straight through.
Never got a reply though. |
