Ok its been over a week now since the 2003 Blood Bowl was held, now is the time to look forward to next year. So what would everyone like to see done for next years big event
Personaly i would like to see a star player free tourney(as would most) , i think it would be good to maybe be able to give more than one skill to a player, and maybe the winner of the BB could have this player put into the hall of fame or made ito a official SP?? |

+1 painting point for having coaching staff represented (see thread on Hosting Tournaments)
+1 point for having your own range ruler (not serious here - just that I had some 'foreign gentlemen' interrupt me mid-turn THREE times to reach ACROSS the pitch and nab my ruler).
No Star Players
Start with one skill
The free water was a nice touch - and most appreciated!
No announcements about Mail Orders mid-game
Adding time on at the end to compensate for the ten-minute "don't start playing yet as we have some nonsense we'd like to announce", er announcements |

Change it to beer and I'm in. I never drink any other alcoholic beverage but beer. So wine, wodka, gin and whiskey even,,,,,,, they're all out.

Agreed... If you haven't played the French at BB, you just haven't played the game.... Also, more tickets for the French (and Dutch) next year.....
Lucy
I have a 100% score against the French |

We already had two tournaments in Holland.
Those will remain, but unfortunately none in the near future....

1) No star players
2) Modified sportsmanship awards, giving out upto 5 points for each player, then having boundaries for sportsmanship pts. scored to translate into tourny points. Alternatively, you can rank each coach according to their sportsmanship, i.e. most sporting gets 6, next most gets 5, then 4, 3, 2 etc. with boundaries to translate to tournament points.
3) Possibly a similar system as above to rate painting. Some of the teams I played were pretty crap painted, but their score was fairly high. By letting us as coaches rate the painting, it will even out opinions.
4) A much better free mini.
5) More of those seminars! |
