I though it might be a cool thing to see how the team develops...so please (if you have) post pictures of your mini during the painting process....it might also be used as a paiting guide (learning experience for others)...I mean, we have more than a dozen people working here and I would assume not everybody paints the same way.
Please refrain from commenting, just post pictures in this thread, maybe with a little explaination on what you did and why (not mandatory) |

Ok...I'll start 
I started with the skin color...blazing orange. For the highlights I used mixtures of blazing orange, hobgoblin orange and sunburst yellow....the recest areas I darkened with gore red...the chest plates I used a mixture of blzing orange and blood red.

The next step was to add the black
I used chaos black and for the highlights I mixed it with fortress gray

Third color...I chose a dark blue for all the cloths parts.
I started with Midnight blue and then used mixtures of Regal blue and enchanted blue for the highlighting. I also painted the claws and the little horn with bleached bone.

last color on the mini: gold for all the "jewlery". I used shining gold for the base and after washing it with armour wash I brushed burnishing gold over it. I also used brown wash on the claws and the tiny horn.
I will wait with the base and the number until a decision is made about what it should look like.

It is nice to read nice comments about the painting, but please hold back with it until the team is together...this post is indended to be a work in progress/ painting guide/ showing off thread...please respect that...

Well here is my pictures.
First a picture of the figure coated.
Then with some paint on. First I used transparent yellow washed with a mixture of tansparent yellow and transparent red, then highlighted with sunburst yellow. The skull was painted with Bleashed bone and washed with dark brown and highlighted with white. The shoulder "face" was painted with a mix of black and gold, then highlighted with gold.

Ok Djengis, we have to work a little bit on the color perception of yours. I thought Dutch people know what orange looks like.
(he told me that he was so excited and only remembered "poisonous frogs")
