Post subject: NAF legacy team color choice for base ring

This poll is only open for the people who paint for the team. Please respect this.
Everybody (of the team) please vote and then state below what you have voted for and also what second choice you could live with (in case of a tie)
One of Crazy Goblin girls suggestion was a 50/50 dark angels green/scorched brown mix.
Please keep in mind: We are only voting for the color of the ring of the base, not what goes on top of it.

I voted dark brown
Second choice would be a mixture of green and brown |

I always do mine black  but I've picked a choice (mix) second would be dark angel green |

Oh, I voted for dark brown, but I'd also rather do the base ring black. It looks classy. With three write-in votes for black, as of now it's winning the poll without ever being a selection.  |

I voted dark green however I do think that black is a way better color choice.

| It doesn't really matter to me. I personally use goblin green, but I would vote for black if it is an option, dark angels green would be my second choice. |

Voted for the mix... I tried it out 50/50 (roughly) of scorched brown/dark angels green and it's very dark and nice. Dark brown would be my second choice.
Never heard of black bases... but then to the fussy perfectionist painter that I am it would feel unfinished to me.  |

Going through the response here then it seem that it will be black with 5 votes, I know that Dark Brown got 5 votes as well but this is due to the vote of Boblo_Jellyroll who votes Dark Brown since Black was not on the list.
I take it that we will go with a black ring. |

| Personally, I don't think it matters what colour we paint the base rings, this is a legacy team, so each mini will look different though a similar colour sceme as each will be done by a different person. That's the whole point of the legacy team, to have a unique team of minis that represent each painter's interpretation of the team concept. I think that telling people what colour to paint their base rings is a bit anal and I'll paint them whatever colour I think suits the overall look of the mini. |
