Greetings all,

Being one of those crazy gaming sorts Rolling Eyes , I have been Volunteered by the Queensland Gamers Guild to run a Tournament to be know as the "River City Cup" sometime in the first third of 2006.

What I am looking for is any coaches who live in the general area so that We can plan this event and gather new players to the fold.

So anyway, who is local to Brisvegas or knows coaches out this way Question

Best Tournament so far - one touchdown all weekend

First third of the year? CanCon is ont he Australia Day weekend (end of Jan) so its probably best trying to avoid being too close to that. I know the Teabaggers normally go down.

Other than that you shouldn't have too many scheduling issues. I doubt I'll be able to make it though Sad

If it's the right time of year - then I will happily come up as I know that my wife is keen to come to queensland again and really enjoyed last time we went to Brisbane and stayed with Mr & Mrs. Sparticus.

More information to hand, The Rivercity Cup will be run as part of the Queensland Gaming Guild's "Times of War" on the last weekend in March 2006. Details are still a little hazy With the organiser Minx getting back to me shortly. The cost for this 2 day tournament is probably going to be around the $25.00 mark.
More information soon.

Wulfhure - bring flyers! I'll give you the opportunity to plug.

As to me personally coming up for those dates, the chance is slim - however I may be able to provide some kind of NAF prize support and give it to you at CanCon.

Probably the easiest way to get up to speed is make sure you are using the LRB 4.0 rules - which you can download from the specialist games website. Then any questions just ask - and when you play be really clear upfront about what you think the rules are and be humble if they are different to what you are used to.

The actual tourney rules - I'm sure Wulf will fill you in.
