hey...you know how you've painted colours on the bases, asuming colours for positions i was thinking of doing that to my were team...as they all look familiar in position and would be helpful to your opponent as i feel a bit cheesy not letting your opponent know the score realy...what you all think?

| back in the second edition there were coloured rings for the different posistions, nice if you want to do it but i prefer to base all mine the same and put a green ring around them |

| If I remember 2nd Ed, Catchers were Yellow, Throwers were White, Blitzers were Red, Blockers were Blue, and Linemen were just grey. |

yeh, thats right...might look a bit tacky but gives your opponent the same advantage as you...only fair realy if they look similar  |

The correct basecolours from 2. ed
Linemen= Grey
Blockers= Green
Throwers= White
Catchers= Yellow
Blitzers= Red

But wait! Are Witch Elves Catchers? How about a Trollslayer? They're not blitzers, but they are certainly not catchers or regular blockers. What base ring category do these poor players fall under? 
One of our diehard league members (who's also an NAF member, come to think of it); paints his Witch Elves with Purple bases. |

That problem would never have occured if it wasnt for GW´s dammned mix of BB-world with Warhammer world.
I mark trollslayers as blockers and Witchelves as catchers, but thats just my take on it.
As a sidenote i use black bases for kickers.
