Post subject: modeling goo/jelly

| For a trophy that I am making, I am making a jelly filled pastry out of foam core. The pastry part looks great, but I am having a brain-lock thinking of how to "model" jelly. Does anyone have any ideas? Imagine you are trying to model a jelly donut, how would you represent the jelly? |

| I think I may have come up with something. Clear acrylic caulk, painted/inked accordingly, with a glaze of varnish. Looks good so far, will post pic when copmpleted. |

| Two part epoxy made for modeling water would work well if you dye it (a little paint or ink of the appropriate colour does the trick). That would make a translucent jelly filling. For an opaque like a creme filling, builder's expanding foam sealant might do, but I haven't worked much with that. |
