Team Toronto is probably strapped for cash. I'll have to check my budget to see if I can make it. I wouldn't hold your breath on too many other people making it from the TBBF. It might just be Ben and myself if I can make it (but really, we can bobby fisher it and play 2-3 games at a time and still beat you guys ) |

On another note, how does the scoring work for the teams anyways? Is it like a standard tournament, and the team with the most wins takes the title? Does each team play each other in a round, ie, Team Toronto plays Team Boston in round 1, then they play Montreal in round 2 and then Philly in round 3? |

I will have room at my house for up to 6 people. Like VBZ, we just got the house and have no children.
I live about 30 minutes from the venue but it's not that bad of a drive.
The closest hotels are still about 10 minutes away from the venue.
The one I used for the Phrakus was

I'll get more of the travel info together over this weekend. |

I think with 6 teams it works perfectly: bascially you get a round robin tourney where you play every other team in 5 rounds.
I'd assume the team with most wins at the end is DA CHAMP |

I think that each team will rank their players 1 thru 5. Then the corresonding players match up in each round. |

Eurobowl 2005 rules---should make a good starting point:
Event is NAF sanctioned www.bloodbowl.net
8 Teams per nation
No duplicate BB races per Nation, so 8 different BB races, no more, no less
More than one coach can play a team, but they have to use the same race and can swap from round to round
6 rounds, opponents will be randomised
Win = 1 point to your nation
Draw = 0.5 point to your nation
Loss = 0 points
Teams will be 1mil
After each round you may take one skill (normal roll) for a player on your team
No player may get more than one extra skill
After game 3 you may take a skill roll as if you rolled a double
Rosters are rest each round, with the exception of the extra skill being added
Apoths are allowed, team wizards and star players are not permitted
The winning nation will get first refusal to host next years event. Should England win, the second place nation gets this option instead.
In addition to this, the winners next year will be able to have a "trophy reroll", which allow them once per tournament to reroll a single roll. Note thats once over all the 6 games, for only 1 roll. You don't get 6, one for each round, so once someone used it up thats it for the whole team for the rest of the tournament. Shouldn't really give a big edge but adds a little fun for next year. We of course don't need it for ourselves this year!
so they did it by randomizing opponents. |
