Anybody know why there are no NAF sanctioned tournaments at Origins? I love the game, but get so bummed when i attend Origins and sometimes Gen Con too and have no tournaments to play. I live in Ohio and I am currently in a league, but my NAF rating never ever sees a change as I don't seem to ever to find a tounament around here or at a con that I can get too. Please inform me of any knowledge of tourney's run at these conventions if there are any.

Theres a big tournament at GenCon every year. I'm pretty sure its the biggest tournament in North America each year.

Galek Starscraper runs the GenCon tournament, I'm sure he'll pop by eventually to fill you in on some more details.

There has been some intrest in a tourney at Orgins for the last few years. We just need someone to step up and run one. Do you think you could get a couple guys in your league to help you run a tourney? Depending on the date I may make my first trip to orgins if there was a BB tournament.

We also have The Philadelphia Phrakus coming up again this year. Pennsylvania isn't that far away, and we have some cool stuff planned.

Keep an eye out for news on the coming North America Cup

EDIT: Ohio isn't that far away for us either...plan a NAF Tourney and you might see some folks coming your way as well! Smile

The largest Blood Bowl tournament in North America 3 years in a row has been at GenCon. Its held on Friday and Saturday every year. 5 games swiss.

I thought seriously about playing at Gen Con last year but I had only been playing a couple of weeks.

I am definitely giving it a go this year.

I go to Origins every year and would love to play in a tournament or even some casual games.

I just poked at the Origins website. The deadline to get games into the pre-reg book just passed (Jan. 31), but they're still taking submissions that will go into the onsite program til April 10th.

I'm not planning on attending, but for you folks that are you could coordinate with each other to run some casual games or even a tourney -- even if it doesn't make the PEL you still have time to advertise it on the BB forums.

Cheers,
Mo
