Hey Guys! Been a long time... I would love to contribute on this one for sure. I have not done a legacy since the vampire team the inaugural year, but I'm game. |

looks like Nurgle is winning the poll
we'll need to start looking at team colors and such
Nurgle colors are what typically?
Green and Purple?
mardi gras colors are close to that, just add gold
we could use NAF colors Red White and Black
misanthrope showed me a completely monochrome mini in the new White Dwarf, very cool
anyone else have any color ideas |

Green and purple are the classic Nurgle colors, although NAF colors would be fine with me, also. We can have a separate poll for that once it's been decided on the race. Any other suggestions? |

Dwarves could catch up with a bit of effort still - let's see which race wins first and then do another poll for colours.
One other question - last NAF team I painted a model for, the team was a freebie gift to NAF from Andy Hall. Are we going to be cheeky and ask him again or will we be buying the models ourselves this time? I don't mind buying a model but, well , free models... It can't hurt to ask, can it? |

I think diff shades of greens and browns if we go with Nurgle. I personally think Nurgle will be better for us because it gives the opportunity for some creative converting. Maybe it's time we shut the poll down, say it's Nurgle and begin discussing colors. |

Let's hold off on ending the vote -- it's due to end tomorrow anyways, so I don't see that it's worth doing it a day early.
I've got a sealed Nurgle's Rotters team and I'm trying to acquire another, so I'll have some spare minis to share if necessary, but I think the "everyone contributes their own" plan would be best. It'll also allow for more variety and conversion if we do that.
Does anyone have a spare Bilerot Vomitflesh 2nd Ed mini? |

I have one. Don't know that I would call it a "spare"......
But it's for a good cause, so if you want it, you can count me in. |

I just thought it would be nice to include it, since it's the only 2nd Ed. mini that really fits into the Rotter theme, and as I remember it, the Rotter box set only comes with three of the four Rotters the team needs. |

inder LRB5 there are:
0-16 Rotters
0-4 Pestigors
0-4 Nurgle Warriors
0-1 Beast of Nurgle
which I think is much cooler than a chaos team with rotters instead of chaos warriors and a beast of nurgle that gives you a 110k gp player for free if you kill someone
a friend of mine uses the rotter minis as Nurgle Warriors, he uses 4 of the beastmen that he originally painted, and he's working on a box of zombies to use as the rotters now that they made to be squishy versions of the zombies |

...There are so many fun conversion ideas with a Nurgle team... bloated pus-bags, tentacled abominations, maggot-ridden filth...
Oh, the horror!

A Nurgle team does sound kind of fun... I mean, really, how often does one get to use or read the phrase "tentacled abomination"
While I will be the first to admit that the monochrome emperor's champion was one of the coolest things I've ever seen (and I will absolutely steal the idea for my Shadow Warriors warband), I think traditional Nurgle colors would be best... something reminiscent of open sores, bleeding orifii, and rotting flesh.
And now, back to my bagel. |

Mmmmm.... bleeding orifii. (Insert Homer Simpson noises here.)
Sorry, just trying to get into the Chaos spirit. I think it's pretty clear that we'll be doing Nurgle at this point. I'll start another thread with a list of people who said they were interested, a list of positions, and some pictures of possible color schemes soon.
I may even still have some of the old Citadel Colour "Tentacle Pink"! Woot! |
