Hi Karl,
The only Vampire I would have for the team would be Count Luthor, but I don't think Star Players are really what we're looking for here. We do still need a Ghoul, though. I think we can start opening up the field for Necromantic Team additions soon, too, so if you're in the mood to paint a werewolf or golem we could let start that process.
There are always coaching staff/rerolls/score counters as painting options, too....
Well if that is the case...please count me in for a werewolf unless it's still too early for that. I was working on a cool (IMO) conversion for that and wouldn't mind sharing it with/for the Legacy Team.
Let me know...otherwise a Ghoul works.

I'll go in for a WW or a golem, assuming you're taking those now.
BTW, are we using GW only figures? |

Do you want to paint a were or a golem? Do you have a number you want to use?
Use any figure you like, as long as the scale is correct. 15mm Frankenstein's Monsters just wouldn't look right... |

If you're taking figs to allow for a necro team also, I'll go in for a golem...
As for a number.....I guess since I can't go three digits...I'll go two and use #66 |

That's cool, as long as you try to match colors with the rest of us.
I personally use Reaper Pro and Master series paints for the most part with a smattering of GW and artist acrylics thrown in for good measure. Reaper has some nice tables of color equivalencies on their webpage. I'm not sure if they equate enamels, though!
I used to use enamels for painting minis, but having kids meant I had to be careful with the solvents. Little hands move too fast! |

As of right now, we could use some more Skeletons and Zombies, coaching staff (necromancer of some sort), cheerleaders, Assistant Coaches, rerolls and score counters. We've also agreed that we'll add the option of a Necromantic Team to the list as well, but we've only 1 werewolf and 1 golem for that option left.
Let me know what you want to paint, and the number you want him to be. Check out the first post in the thread to see what numbers the other painters are using, to avoid duplications. I edit that post pretty much every day.
P.S. Ignore Spazzfist! We're happy to have anyone! |

I'd also like to add a coach, unless someone else claims him/her/it. |

If we are allowed to drop another in, I'd like to do a wizard as well - I only want one shot at the team at the end though... |

Regarding the Accessory Team Figures, like the coaches, cheerleaders, etc:
I don't see a problem with allowing you guys to paint up to two figures if you want. But I think that if you want to paint an addtional figure, please make sure that you don't over-extend yourselves.
For the 2006 team, we had 20 or so painters lined up, but only 11 sent in miniatures, and many, including my own, were late.
I also don't think it's fair to give an additional draw to a painter who voluteers to paint two figs. If you want to paint two, great! but let's not get greedy. This is as much for fun as to maybe get a unique team.
Is that acceptable for everyone? |
