Take this as it is.... but I personally feel you should maintain Leviathan as it has been. Leviathan has been a league tournament. It could be worth keeping that. Cancon and Moab are tr100 league tourneys while leviathan has traditionally been a tr 125 league tournament. I think if you ran it as a league it would be a good way of highlighting the benefits of lrb 5.0 to league play, and would keep leviathan distinctly its own style, I meant to email you with my thoughts sorry ive been a bit busy. Sorry to rain on the parade a bit, but IMHO it ends up being a euc clone somewhat, you should try and keep its own flavour if you can. |

Given that almost all European tournaments are TR100 or TR110 resurrection styles I don't think you need to worry too much about the similarities in rule sets. If anything I think you may find that a lot of coaches like similar rule sets so they can use the experience from one tournament in another.
I'm understand that MOAB & CanCon will remain league style and if they adopt LRB5 it will be interesting for people to get the hang of the league differences there - whilst at Euc/Leviathan they can learn some of the new skills & rosters. |

Rabid, I thank you for the thoughts. One of the reasons it is to be Resurrection is that I am unsure of all the new rules/skills myself, and with April not far off, I wanted it to be as easy as possible for players. Also, if this is a success, I'll be running Leviathan for many more years and I wont let it be a clone of Euc.
As Doubleskulls said, MOAB and Cancon are already league style, so making Leviathan league would be more of a clone to them than resurrection would be to Euc.
Appreciate the feedback but am going to stick with it as is.
Also, side note.
The website and entry forms are now up, email me as well when you pay, so I can keep track of numbers. Cheers all.

I am in!
And I too am in favour of the league play as opposed to resurrection...
But given I am not like a prominent forum poster and LRB4 advocate, I won't be chunking (sic) it in
See you in April...
.... NOW, where's that Deathroller mini I won! |

Interesting. I'd love a copy of the house rules document when it's in draft form.
Sounds like big guys may be a must then... |

All rules and conditions are located on the Leviathan website as I posted above. It allows big guys to go nuts, but allows other teams to gain skills/inducements to counter the big guys |

Oz - conquest is happening - ConqGodde is running Blood Bowl (Andrew Godde). Conquest is on the Easter weekend. Is this the same time you will be in Melbourne? |
