Hey all!
Sorry for the delay, but we just got our official date...Saturday September 29th.
The first (and hopefully annual!) Bloodbowl For A Cure is going to be held at Showcase Comics in Bryn Mawr, PA.
BBFAC is a charity event benefitting the American Diabetes Association. All proceeds raised by this event will go towards a donation page for the Step Up against Diabetes event in Philadelphia this October. (visit www.diabetes.org/stepup for more info)
BBFAC will be a one-day three-round tourney. Not sure if it will be NAF-sanctioned (a little late I admit, but I am not above grovelling!  ) APPROVED! Thanks Brian!
A nominal $10 fee will be charged.
Prize support has been offered, soon to be secured...
T-shirts still a possibility...
Raffle for other prizes possibly including a custom pitch?! Hmmmmmmm.....

| I am soo tempted, I spent the last [Canadian] long weekend in PA and did not want to leave. Seriously, if it were not for the people I drove down I would have called in sick for the rest of the week. This would give me more of a reason to return. Will have to check my Calendar. |

Well, just looked at the calendar and relised I cannot make it out. My buddy's Stag and Doe is the same day and I cannot split on them.
I guess I will have to find another justification for going down to PA. |
