What is it?

The 4 Diamonds Cup! A one day NAF sanctioned tournament on May 10th 2008, in Harrisburg Pennsylvania

4 round, Swiss style, LRB5 with modified Kick Off table, and a choice of 2 skill packages

Cost is $25, all money collected will be donated to charity

Why should I come?

Well, you love Bloodbowl! We will also have prizes for Champion, Best Sportsman, Best Painted, and the humiliating glory of the Wooden Spoon. We will also be having some raffles for great prizes, and your admission fee includes homemade lunch as well as beverages.

You've sold me with your well thought out arguments, now what?

Go to the website to register and start the smack talking!

Thanks for looking!

Count me in. After seeing the prizes and painted team that was up for grabs at the Massacre...I'm going to come out for this one.

I am going to see if I can swing getting to this tourney.

There is a business trip I can pick up to NYC that week. But getting to Harrisburg for the tourney is going to prove the mystery! Will work on logistics, but would love to come out there and play.

Schawn,

That would be awesome if you could make it, I'd love to have a big fat check to give the folks at 4 Diamonds!

UPDATE: Well looks like I am able to switch trips. I will go to NYC May 5th-9th. Now just to handle the logistics from NYC to Harrisburg. Is the tourney actually in Harrisburg? Or outside?

Looking forward to making the tourney.

It is actually located in a suburb of Harrisburg.
It just a hop, skip and a jump away from the highway.
Very easy to find...

Who wouldn't want to promote this kind of fun? Smile

Jamie...assuming that was a jab at me...may I wear a badge of office at the tourney?

I am thinking... oh lord... renting a car in NYC and driving to the tourney. Its only about 2hrs away theoretically, with traffic and whatnot... maybe more like 6. Smile

RobO: Not only may you wear a badge, I might INSIST you wear a badge.

Schawn: NYC is 3-4 hours from Harrisburg, depending on traffic.... my wife and I do day trips pretty regularly. That said, I can understand why you'd pass on the fun of all that commuting!

Well I guess my main concern is transportation. I could take the train to Harrisburg no problem. But getting to the tourney would prove to be a little chore. Anyone wanna pick me up at the train station? Pick me up in the morning for the tourney and drop me back at the hotel? Smile
