Is there anyone who can direct me to a good website or is willing to show me some good tips on how to paint marble effects?

how bout resin in medium blendin colours first then after it sets a thin layer of clear with darker & lighter specks or even sand or do I dare say it "glitter dust" I know resin can be a pain, but this may work.

I belive there was a White Dwarf mag. a few years ago, when GW introduced inquisitor (even made a report with it) that had a modeling article on how to paint a marble column (it was kinda centerpiece for the whole battle).
Other than that, I'll try my links on painting and let you know if I find something.

Cheers
Axt

There is another article linked to that one about painting granite, I am going to try that one as well!

Going to try my hand at this marble technique now! Will post pics when I am done.

The dwarf pitch is finished! Here is a pic of one of the marbleized pillars that I did up:

There will be another thread with the whole pitch on it. Thanks Taxal for putting me onto that! Although I did modify it slightly for the pillar (and a lot for the rest of the board) it did come out really nicely.
