I am working on the links pages for the BB webpages that I webmaster, and I am looking for Canadian BB Leagues to add to this list.
If you could post your league name, location and website/email contact, that would be helpful; not only to me but others searching for leagues.
Thanks. |

Eric,
I will leave it to Ben to decide the fate of the TBBF. But I would like to officially declare the introduction of the BOMBBL. The Brampton Oakville Mississauga Blood Bowl League. I would like to make the 15th of November our inaugural meeting. |

As fun as that would be, it would be a programing nightmare. Each league runs under its own rules and I would like to them to be as autonomous as possible. |

Seeing that the website is now a dead link I would believe the long running TBBF has dissolved

Yeah!! A league to play in. Even if it is only you, Dan and I Many current Semi-Pro sports leagues only have 3 teams . . . we all got to start somewhere. Geez, the NHL only had 6 teams for 25 years and almost got taken out by the WHL before expanding.
The BOMBBL (pronounced 'bumble' with Bee LaDouche as Commisioner, I assume ) will be added. If you are lucky I may create a website |

That sounds best - I would not have to want to rely on one person to have to do that data entry for everyone.

I would think you are correct, or maybe it is just in a coma. Really the TBBF stopped being the TBBF when they stopped actually playing in Toronto. Maybe someday someone can ressurect it, but for now, I have no intention on going into TO to play games when our players are local here.

Wait a sec, we also have Schofield, Laurent, Chris Poynter (he never went to BC) and maybe a couple of other guys who are showing some interest of joining a league. I think what we need to do though is have more of an active recruitment. Spread the good word! Can I get a "Hallelujah"?
|EDIT - we would be called "Bom-ble" 'Cuz we da bomb! Word. |

Hey Marc-Andre,
What is this league you speak of? Why have I never heard of it until now...We want to get a league going actively again but weren't sure about numbers yet. Let me know man,

The one Marc speaks of, is the one he has with his friends in Gatineau. I think Joe is in plans to revive our league and bring it back to a regular reoccuring games. Every other week kinda thing.
I was hoping the league would be revived, I need to start playing more again. |

Well I just heard back from Scott Smith again (former manager of the Square One GW store) and he is going to be coming out on the 15th, and has a bunch of BBers that he is going to be bringing out of retirement so it looks like our league is getting off to a good start numbers-wise, this can only bode well for tournament attendance as well! |
