Prehensive Tail or Diving Tackle. These would be my choice.

sidestep is also a good option (although it works best with guard)

You're right Solarflare,

Had he got Guard, SIdestep might even have been my first pick.

Since he´s a killer dwarf with claw and mighty blow, I´m guessing you will give him piling on too?

If that´s the plan then I would go with the Jump Up skill. Happy Hunting! Smile

In earlier rules editions, sure, but with the current Jump Up rules an AG 3 Dwarf u needs a 3+ to block with it (stays on the ground if he misses).

I'd take Prehensile Tail myself. He's a really nasty guy to get hit by - and with tackle & PTail hard to get away from too.

Diving Tackle means he's on the floor more, and with MA4 you want to keep him mobile.

Dodge isn't bad either - just for keeping him on his feet and for later combo with Stand Firm.

If you make an block action with him yes, an blitz aciton or moveaction still make the skill free for use.
