And 15 mins away - measured by what means of transport?

Walking? What if it's raining?

As I said earlier, people moaned about the 5 minute walk between the White Hart and GW at the last WC, especially if they/their team yo-yoed between venues.

What if youve got a team member in a wheelchair ?? its not as easy as loading your models into a case and "trotting Off" down the road!! However, if you make the smaller venue the "ELITE" (top teams) neither myself or Darksons team will mind too much i suspect..... Wink

Getting said Wheelchair into the pub as well...
I know the pub in question. Ain't happening.

I hate the second venue idea personally.
It potentially destroys the atmosphere of the tournament imo.
However, if it is considered necessary and is genuinely the only way to fit in the extra teams then we have to live with it.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't....

It's not ideal but then what is? As a member of a team on tenterhooks waiting for the second draw, I say bravo!

as lizardcore, i think making the alternative venue the 'Elite' place is better. because the 'elite0' players will go there with a better spirit. if you loose several rounds and have to go in another place, it looks like ashame, and this cuts down your motivation. if it is because of winning i think it will be easier.

in all case this is not perfect.

Okay new rule
2nd venue:
Top 4 teams
They must drink a full beer/spirit before the start of the match, ever half and every TD
I think this way we will hopefully see 64 teams cruse through there

So the Danish teams are supposed to drink less than normal? Shocked
That´s unfair forcing us to play bad just to get drunk Wink

Not that I care much, however where will most people be interested in seeing other matches? Low tables or high tables?

If there are interest in seeing the high placed games I think they should be placed in the major venue - depending on the time schedule it´s also very important for those playing to be in the top that their games aren´t cut because of lack of time. Will the distance between the places mean that?

good point from topper, but i am not sure a lot of people will really 'neeeed' to see the top table games.
and in 2011 maybe some technological artifact can handle the view problem.
Setting up a webcam on the pub's top tables seems possible. (more organisation threads for sure, but can also be delegated to a geek panel)

Hi NAF staff,

I was pre-registered as individual player at the begenining because I didn´t have the opportunity to join a team...then some friens needed one member more to complete their team, so I join them in the EQUIPO ACTIMEL, so please, remove my individual registration...hope there is no problem with this!!! thanks!! Very Happy

Did the venue change? If so where is it being played now?
