Just want to announce the NSW Open Tournament. It is a tournament that will be running concurrently with The AusBowl (A selection based State Teams Tournament) so there will be a great atmosphere for this one.

It is on the 5th and 6th of March in Burwood.
The Saturday is at Club Burwood, while the Sunday is at Burwood RSL.

Tickets Cost $30 each and it would be a great help if you could register your interest and pay in advance. PM me for Direct Debit or Paypal details.

There will be some great trophies to be won, including but not limited to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Most Tds, Most Cas. As well as an excellent coaches pack to be produced for attendees of both the AusBowl and the NSW OPEN.
Some of the top Blood Bowl coaches in Australia will be tied up in the AusBowl tournament so what better time to turn up for a tournament, get to know some of the more influencial members of the Australian Blood Bowl community, while having a really good shot of doing well in a Blood Bowl tournament.

It is NAF accredited but membership is not required.

6 Rounds of Resurrection Blood Bowl Action, with a Swiss System determining your opponents for each round.

There is also a social dinner on at a yet to be determined establishment on the Sat night that all players are most welcome to attend (please express your interest when registering to help determine numbers)

The following is the ruleset for the tournament:

Unless otherwise stated the rules from the Competition Rules Pack will be used. These supercede all previous living rule books and experimental rules.

Team Selection

Teams have a value of 1,250,000 gold. This is to be spent on players, skills, inducements, rerolls etc
This may be spent on any combination of players, inducements and skills you like, so long rules below are followed
All teams must start with at least 11 players (including star players)
You must spend all your cash
Inducements are restricted as per page 49 & 50 of the rule book (e.g. 0-2 star players)
Each rostered player on the team may be given one skill, normally accessible to them, increasing their value by 20k
Only the following teams are allowed. They are:
Amazons, Chaos Dwarves, Chaos Pact, Chaos, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Halflings, High Elves, Humans, Khemri, Lizardmen, Necromantic, Norse, Nurgles Rotters, Ogres, Orcs, Skaven, Slann, Undead, Underworld, Vampires, Wood Elves
Star Players are not eligable to gain skills.
No optional rules (e.g. special play cards) from Competition Rules Pack will be used.
The Chaos Pact, Slann and Underworld teams are available to be used.
Game Play and Team Progression

This is a resurrection tournament. Your team resets at the end of each game, with every game you play using the exact same team.
No changes are permitted to your team sheet after the first game has started, so choose wisely!
The only part of the pre-match sequence is weather, gate and choice of kick-off
No inducements are available pre-game. Any unspent cash is wasted.
Necromancers add a Zombie for the current game only. Nurgle´s Rot has no effect.
No post-match sequence is necessary, as teams reset.
The normal rules for team progression are not used. Do not count SPPs.
Injuries do not carry over.
Illegal Procedure may only be called if both coaches agree before the game starts.
Timers may only be used if both coaches agree before the game starts or the organisers request it.

Any Questions Just post here or PM me. For more comprehensive information (and faster responses to your questions), please see the forums over at www.ausbowl.com and look in the tournament section.
