The third edition of the biggest tournament of the great east of France !
Near to the "3 Borders", in Mulhouse, Alsace.
By car, you have to travel 30 minutes from Basel (CH) or 40 minutes from Freibourg (DE) by example.
AlsaBowl is a 3-coachs teams tournament. The appariements are fully calculated by team results.

Complete Descrption and Rules in English (sorry for my english level ^^ ) :
After the success of the first two editions of AlsaBowl, I am pleased to announce the new edition in 2012, May 26th and 27th weekend.
This year again, Alsabowl will be a step of French Championship and will be, of course, referenced NAF. It is also possible to register for the NAF on place and receiving the dices.
The rules are the same as last year, with just a little exception:
AlsaBowl is always a 3-coachs teams tournament, in five Swiss Round games, using the LRB6. Of course, two coachs of same team cannot choose same roster.
Each team will be formed to reach a Team Value of 110. 5 players on the team receive a skill at the beginning of the tournament, one of which is a "double". No characteristic increase of course.
The teams of Goblins, Halflings and Ogres can choose 5 "double" skills.
Appariements will be team against team. Team Score is the total of points of the 3 members of the team. And each player will play against the same ranked player in his team (1st vs 1st, 2nd vs 2nd and 3rd vs 3rd).
The point system will be:
Victory : 400 points
Draw : 200 points
Defeated by a TD difference : 100 points
Defeated by two or more TD : 0 points
Bonus per TD : 2 points
Bonus per injury on block : 1 point
The "small change" for this year is in the apparition of a "coefficient table" who will be applied from the Round 2. This coefficient will be applied on bonus points (touchdowns and injuries) and a coach who has played all his tournament in the top tables will have their bonus points increased slightly. This is intended to favor a little more the results of teams and the "value" playing on top tables in the tournament. But I will give you the details on tournament day.
The tournament will start Saturday morning and ends Sunday in the afternoon, early enough that people who came from far away could taking train or road. If you have imposed schedule (train for exemple), please inform us about your arrival time.
The tournament will take place in Illzach in fact, directly a suburb of Mulhouse, in a room available from Friday night, around 19:00 to Sunday night without scheduling requirement.
Sleeping Bags lovers can sleep on the room friday and Saturday nights without problem and there are some "Formule 1" or better class hotels around.

Ir you are coming by train, the room is located 10 minutes from Gare de Mulhouse by public transport (Tram) or by car. We may also arrange to bring some people at the station if required.
The rounds will be played as follows:
1 ° - Saturday 10:00 a.m.
2 ° - Saturday 2:00 p.m.
3 ° - Saturday 5:00 p.m.
4 ° - Sunday 10:00 a.m.
5 ° - Sunday 1:30 p.m.
The tournament should be completed, including awards around of 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Meals will be provided Saturday lunch and Sunday lunch, as well as what breakfast Sunday morning.
Cold drinks will be available for free all weekend, as well as alcoholic beverages for very low costs.
For Saturday night, it was full of possibilities nearby : pizzas, kebabs, etc.
Because I think going through the same caterer as the previous two years, there will surely same way to serve in the veeeeeery large remains of Saturday.
Last year, no fewer than 21 prizes were awarded! Will be awarded in addition to the podium by team, the following prizes:
- Individual Podium Tournament
- Scoring
- Best Destroyer
- Best Attacker
- Best Defense
- The Wooden Spoon
- Painted Most Beautiful Team
- Most Beautiful Land
- Best Bar Customers
The price of the tournament will be 45 Euros, all inclusive for non-NAF member and 40 Euros for NAF members.
