Is there going to be an attendance limit? There is a bunch of new faces that want to attend both CDN Open & CoQ, but it is unlikely they all will be able to attend CDN Open due to attendance limit, so I just want to inform them early if such a limit will be here as well? |

I am not imposing a limit at this point, I think that X Planet can accomodate as many as would reasonably attend.
And if show signs of getting unreasonable, then I will plan accordingly! |

Did you look at the number of people attending the CO? It is almost full at 20.
Is Planet X the same place that the CO was held at last year? If so, that would only hold about 20 or so wouldn't it? I don't remember there being enough tables downstairs. Just trying to be helpful. |

Also in the vein of being helpful - might be worth checking on MtG upcoming releases for date complications. |

Just a heads up there looks to be including myself 5-6 from Niagara Falls attending (four new NAF memberships, so a NAF rep would hopefully be there.) |

Please note - LOCATION CHANGE
The location is going to be at the following address:
84 Dunlop Court
Brampton, ON
L6X-5A6
This is my girlfriend's house which she has offered for me to use for the weekend, including putting a few of you up to save on accommodation costs. It also prevents me having the same problem I had last year with the space being taken away from me at the last minute.
We are locked in an ready to go!
As for rules updates, what are you looking for to be updated, Laurent? |

Tournament Swag!!
Here are some photos of the special custom made weather tokens that I have had made for everyone who attends.
The tokens will stand about five inches tall and each weather token is removable from the stand in which it sits which means that they will be easily transportable.
Please note that these are pics of the test runs, and the final product will be more polished (with name of the tourney on the base, and no line on the left side of the Blizzard result). |

Just making sure no changes ahead (so I can start advertising it here and there).
Looks like everything is solid (date, rules, etc...), so, lets rock and roll baby
PS: I really enjoyed using "Score" as software for the tournament, as it generated the result list automatically, and has an "import" function that allowed me to change the list at the last second to adapt it to the people coming. Let me know if you need computer support. |

You girlfriend does realize what will happen to her house after we are all there for a weekend. And what it will smell like? Seems harsh to just give her back the keys and run away. ;P |

Everything is set in stone at this point. there is too much benefit to have the tourney here, so I cannot pass up the opportunity. I will just have to factor an extra cost for all the extra Febreeze that I'll need to buy!
As for the software, I have a program that was made specially for the Q'ermitt tournament (designed by Marc-Andre) and will be using that one. But thanks for the offer! |

Reminders!
Star Player Draft
Please remember that Star Players are drafted on a first-come-first serve basis. Start Players that are drafted pre-tourney do not have the Loner negatrait and are able to advance and gain further skills (provided they gain enough SPPs during the tourney).
Star Players that are drafted are not available to any other player, including as an inducement.
To date there are only two star players that have been drafted:
Roxanna Darknail
Count Luthor
If you want to purchase a Star Player for your team, then PM me with the request ASAP.
Stunty Cup
The Stunty Cup is a mini tournament that is run on the Saturday evening of the tourney after the main event has finished. Full rules are available by following the link in my signature.
There needs to be a minimum of four players to run the Stunty Cup, and there is a maximum of eight. There is no additional cost for this, and is strictly done on a first come-first serve basis. There will be a trophy for the winner, as well as the coveted Stunty DVD!! (PM for more details on that!) |

Weather tokens look great! Although I hoped they would be 50 inch so I could plant them in my front garden, next to my garden gnomes.
I'd be in the for the stunty cup! If Adam comes, the cup is his for sure. He is an expert in playing without team rerolls. |

Last time (2010), that was true for Star player that don't normally have loner (i.e. Not the big guys)
is it still the same or are big guys loosing loner as well ? |
