NUFFLE’S FAULT 2012 GUIDELINES
November 10th This is a NAF open event
Nuffle's Fault is part of the West Coast Grand Prix
1.1 million TV
At least 11 players
Get LIMITED skills (see below)
Buy any Inducement
Buy any Team Goods
NO IP
NO Kickoff Table
NO Weather
All 24 Teams (this includes the 3 additional teams (Slann, Chaos Pact, Underworld)
~CRP/LRB 6+ Rules~
NAF/GW Blocking Dice and NUFFLE's FAULT d6 only (we will provide d16 and d8 so other than blocking dice leave yours at home)
We have plenty of Boards/Dugouts/Templates so Leave those at home also
More or less all you need is your roster, team and blocking dice
Any Figures as long as they clearly represent the position
NUMBER the BASES front and back
4 games 9:30am-10pm
Here are the Special Rules:
450k random Cards (per coach) each game (plus inducements. you may only take up to 5 cards)
Roll the Game Coin the loser draws first (alternate draws)
ELEMENTS:
Before each Drive roll to see what Element NUFFLE has bestowed upon you. (It will last for the drive)
1> Bog “Nuffle has turned the Pitch into a Bog making it impossible to move.†Any movement related roll is at -1. Leap/Land fails on anything but 5-6 <no other modifiers apply> (hard to find solid ground)
2> Lava Flows “The ground breaks into chunks making it creative to move†You must roll 2+ to follow up (includes Frenzy)
3> Meadow “A perfect day on a Perfect Pitchâ€
4> Sand “Are we in the desert?†The beautiful Sugar Sand is so warm and soft +1 AV
5> Dense Fog and Mist “Where did Johnny go?†Quick and Short Passes only, may not Blitz someone over 6 squares away
6> Monsoon “Everything is soaking wet including the slick ball†-1 on all ball related rolls.
SKILL STORE:
You must give one player Dirty Player
You must give each player a skill from the list. You may only choose each skill once.
Strong Arm, AV, Hypnotic Gaze, Sneaky Git, Kick off Return
MA, Dauntless, Pro, Hail Mary Pass, Side Step, Piling On, Stab (comes with Wild Animal)
Wrestle, Diving Tackle, Stand Firm, Bombadier (comes with Secret Weapon)
MUTATIONS:
At the beginning of each game you will randomly draw a free Mutation for a player you have pre-selected. (one draw per player). (A player may only get one)
Cost $20 (only $10 if you are a current NAF member)
We need your NAF ID and NAF NUMBER PLEASE look it up before hand and put it on the roster you turn in.

| rules updated to clear up some language with the NAF approval and an error or 2 that was pointed out to me |

We will be playing at Game Empire Pasadena
The Corner of Allen and Colorado (parking in the back)
Try to show up at 9am as we want the first game to be underway by 9:30
We will play 4 games
We will have some Dreadball for those who wish to take a look at the rules and maybe run a few demo Rushes (turns) or a whole game.
The is some room at my place for those out of towners looking for a spot to crash
Grab your friends and throw them in the car. |
