Deathbowl X is booked and the location is set! This will be the Year of the Original 6!! For the first time to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Deathbowl, there will be 6 teams to choose from that will all have unique benefits to represent some stars coming out of retirement to make appearances!! Drumroll...the 6 races will be Human, Orc, Dwarf, Skaven, Dark Elf, and last but not least High Elf. Stay tuned as we finalize the rules for this upcoming year and I will post the benefits associated with each of the 6 races above. Finally after years in the making we will be unveilling our Brand Spanking NEW DEATHBOWL BOARDS!!! So excited to have them after all this time and well worth the wait I might add.
We will be returning to the Montgomery Legion for this year as it is simply more spacious and comfortable as much as the convenience of home is nice it can get a little cramped  Any questions as always feel free to ask, take care all and hope to see many of you in the coming months.

Yeah, more space. Home comforts are great, but not when everyone keeps hitting their heads on the light fixtures. ;P
Now, I must wait for the rules to decide which race I will bring. Can Dwarves finally win at Deathbowl? Can Skaven survive at Deathbowl? Who knows.... |

For anyone looking at the dates in the heading, the tourney is on Oct 20-21st and not the 21-22nd as that would be the Sunday/Monday. Thanks!

You know I figured out that Ihave the most experience in Death Bowl. Have not missed one since Death Bowl 2. So I am living proof that experience means SH!T !!!!

Just an update for everyone, we have been working hard to get everything organized and sorted out well in advance of this year's tourney. Our first order of the New Boards has already arrived and we will be ordering a second shipment shortly. The dice are well underway and the rulebook has been updated to reflect this year's theme. There will also be a few other surprises in store for the tourney!
As many have asked I will quickly explain the rundown of this year's bonus for the "Original Six" theme: For each of the themed races you will have 3 options (of which you may choose one)
For Dwarves, Humans, High Elves: 1) A 50K Special Play or Magic Item card 2) A free team reroll 3) 5 "Doubles" skill improvements at a cost of 20k each (does not include attribute increases)
For Orc, Skaven, Dark Elves: 1) A 50K Dirty Trick or Misc. Mayhem card 2) a free team reroll 3) 5 "Doubles" skill improvements at a cost of 20k each (no attributes)
We have also made a change in the Team building phase as well. You will still have the 1 250 000 to build your team but no player may have more than 3 skill improvements total. You may have multiple players with 3 skills each but cannot exceed the maximum of 3 with any one player. They can be of any variety including attributes within the normal rules of the CRP. (ie. players that don't have access to mutations cannot take them as a skill)
A couple other minor tweaks, all have been highlighted in red within the rulebook for easy reference. As always any questions feel free. See you all soon, take care.
