Its back and staler than ever, Crumb-Bowl II

Probably all the same as last year, emphasis on new(er) tournament players with a simple (but effective) ruleset and giveaways. More experienced players are of course welcome, in fact encouraged!!

Same rules with a few minor tweaks, probably the same venue and hopefully the same atmosphere.........and most certainly the same do-nuts and coffee / tea

And a better link:

If you only go to 1 tournament this year.......MAKE IT THRUDD!! but if you do 2 make it a crummier one!! So says "The Glow-Father"

Quick update:

For anyone wanting to join / renew their NAF membership at Crumb, spoke with Lycos at the weekend...

When you pay you can choose either the new NAF dice, D8/D16 & 2D6 or from the following block dice colours:

Colours for block dice available, yellow, red, silver or light green, there are also a few orange but if you picks orange you should have a second choice just in case!!

Don't forget you get 3 block die so you could take 3 different colours if you wish!!

If you can let me know by paypal message when paying...hint,hint soonest then ill see what I can organise.

Just a quick note, I'm limiting the field to 32 places ( which is what we had last year) until I confirm for definite the halls capacity. I need to ensure everyone who's paid gets to play!

So, if you know someone who wants to come, better give them a nudge

Also, if your attending and have a board pitch bring that as I've just been informed the vinyl ones " may hang over the end a bit" ( thanks Canteloup Embarassed )

Also got the following NAF dice for people to collect / use on the day....

Canteloup -yellow
Shinigami -silver
Reaper -yellow
Lewychuew - yellow
Chill -red

Let me know when you arrive and ill sort out the dice, also can you PM me your email address so I can pass it on to the NAF!!

Home for an hour or so before work, but thanks to Glow and the crew - had a great time, and if offered a 1/2/0 before hand would have taken it, so I'm happy with that (even if I did somehow get credited with a 2/1/0 Rolling Eyes Laughing ).

Congrats to all the winners, even powergamer nobby. Razz

And one away on the Amazon draw, and BigB won't give them away, so I better order my own!

Interesting change to the results - one of the results went in as a mistake in round 2, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but as it was Reaper who ended up with 3 wins it has made a slight change to the prizes awarded on the day...

Reaper now has a unique trophy, as he has the only International Glowworm award for 1st place!
DaPiranha, Hawk and Sam were now 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively, and the rest of the awards stay as they were:

Awards for those who were not in top 4:
Most TDs: MonkeyNutts Vampires (officially now exiled by the Exiles for scoring too many...)
Most Cas: AngryHobbit's Ogres with 11, after Nazgob and Hawk on 14 and Reaper on 12
Stunty: Nazgob's Flings
Killing Canteloup's Rat Ogre: Naith
Spoon: Buggrit's Goblins, after a dice off (who rolled lowest!)
Amazon Raffle: BigBelcher
Rubber Dice: Leighton and Hawk
Various spot prizes!

Thanks to Simon for a quality tournament and for indulging my "live results" experiment - we had runners updating the scores as they went along, but I don't think it added anything to the tournament, so I can forget about it now!

See you all next year (or in 2 weeks for Thrud!).

Mike

Rankings appear to be up. I appear as playing at Crumb but no race or results.

I think that's what happens just before they appear? We've been in communication with Hawca but had to track down details for a few new players.
