I am planning on being there Friday. There will be at least one other with me, possibly two.
Playing Chaos this time. Gotta break in the new models before Chaos Cup. |

I'll be taking another step towards playing all 25 races (incl. Space Marines) and bring the nefarious "Twirling Twilight Twisters"!
Similar to the last Hope Bowl, there will be a charity attached: I'll donate $2 for every touchdown I receive and $1 for every touchdown I score to Alan Aid: http://bothdown.com/alan-aid/ |

Delevus will be there. But that's all I know of.
I think two of the Birmingham boys will be making the trip. |

Have fun this weekend boys and maybe gals. Being the last one I am hoping that there will be some insane stories to tell. |

Don't think so - I had some stuff shipped to Nate, but he can't make it and I asked about handing it off to someone else coming and he said not that he knew of.
You hear different? |

We have twenty participants - and again the line dividing East and West goes through the heart of Niagara. |

I heard the East got stomped like a cop at a biker rally but no specifics. |

As Wapcaplets said, the West clearly won - despite the outrageous violence displayed by the East:
Code: # Group Score Touchdowns Casualties
1 West 94 106-96 95-118
2 East 70 96-106 118-95
Fun facts:
The match with the most touchdowns was in round 1 between Joe and Tyler, with Tyler winning 7-6.
The matches with most casualties were in round six between Matt V and Greg as well as Colin and Craig, both 6-2.
Ryan's Orcs did not suffer a single casualty throughout the tournament.
Thanks again to Pete for hosting a great event! |

Ah Boo the West!
But Yey Peter and Tammy and the Lakeside cup of Awesomeness!
I am so happy that i was able to make it, and enjoyed getting to play after a while. Fun to meet all the "new" people, who probably don't feel new to anyone but a semi-retired has-been
Thanks to all the guys I played for wonderful spirit and approach to the game. I enjoyed everyone of them (despite being a little tired by game 3, sorry Dave) and I hope you did too!
Thanks also to Stimme for doing the stats and for introducing me to SCORE. A very cool tool indeed!
Cheers,
Joe |
