Awesome time this weekend at the Canadian Open 2014! Big thanks to natsirtm for a smooth running (and sliding LOL) tourney. New venue was great, loved this year’s dice, and all the extra raffle goodies. So many bonus prizes it felt like the Lakeside Cup Razz Thanks to my opponents for five fun games; especially to Kikurasis for the TD support. Laughing Laughing

Excited to see what natsirtm comes up with next year, whatever it is I’m going to be there to find out and enjoy.

Cheers gents.

Another awesome tournament. Thanks Tristan for a great job, and continuing to build my reputation as the most dominant stunty coach in the land. I was aiming to bring home the Stunty shield, and succeeded!! ;P Another award for the Epic Iron Chefs trophy room.

Great job, Tristan. I was glad to take home the Silver Beaver. Hopefully I can get the gold next year and complete my set.

Does that mean I can trade in next years most TDs for a spot in the top three?

LOL

Thanks to everyone who came out. Am pretty confident results are accurate but please let me know if you spot anything amiss.

Special thanks to Alex M for all his assistance with completing the trophies and general prep and Grant for his help setting up and tearing down and generally making the tournament go smoothly.

Also big thanks to those who recruited new NAF members and converted non tournament go-ers into tournament go-ers. Welcome to the scene ethriel, hakomike, hammer16, iclaw, ottovongoush! Welcome BACK ruggerman08. Big thanks to delevus, grant85 and kikurasis.

I will be sending out a survey regarding the tournament to your emails, please take a moment to respond. 22 coaches was a huge jump of 8 and we would have hit double digits increase without a couple of last minute cancellations. The goal of the survey will simply be to find out how to increase attendance - what you liked, what you didn't and what would make you come back.

Oh and another thanks to everyone who contributed to the Legacy Trophy fund. We generated $150 to go towards making a legacy trophy deserving of the Canadian Open 10 years of tradition.

thanks again everyone and thanks to our sponsors Gaspez-Arts, Neomics and Impact Miniatures.
