Hey guys,

Just a pre-emptive strike to let you all know that MOAB (Mother Of All Battlegames) is running as usual in October, on the long weekend. We will be running BB there (that's the royal 'we'). It is probable that Stephen Babbage (Aussie NAF co-ordinator) will be running it, with assistance from me. The dates will be 4th/5th/6th October. MOAB is held in Sylvania (Sutherland area) in Sydney.

Cheers!

Sylvania?? Isn't that where all the vampires come from?

Thanks for the thought - are Vamp teams legal at Sylvania?

I hope to make it there regardless!

Not too much help there - we drive from the other side of Sydney! Of course, there's not too much chance of snakebite, unless you go looking for snakes of course...

Can anyone help out here?

Cheers!

Freckles,

Just wondering whether the Tourney will be using the same format as
the one at Cancon?

I know its early days yet, but I just want to start thinking about a roster,
& knowing which teams are legal would help me out(we allow the experimental teams in our league).

More info, on like signup, cost location etc would be appreciated though. Very Happy

The URL of the blurb is:

http://www.geocities.com/blood-bowl/MOAB.htm

I _am_ running it. If someone wants to run Vamps - let me know and I'll see - because I want experimental teams in the mix at MOAB and I hear the new Vamps are pretty balanced (with the on field OFAB).
As to somewhere to stay - I'm planning on crashing with my cousin - so I can't offer you somewhere to stay. Sorry.

I still havent decided what team to bring --- was thinking Gobbos or Chaos
Pact (although (they are only half painted at this stage);

Will the rules be similar to the 3BL League rules on the specialist games
website? --- A couple of things on the blurb seem like they come from
these rules.

Just a bit concerned about how "Stunty" will work, as I have hd 35+ CAS against me in 15 League games with my Gobbos.

Thanks for the MOAB BB blurb Babs, but could someone post some more details about MOAB location and cost for entering.

So far we know it's in Sylvania..is there an MOAB URL?

Cheers!

Heres the link to the website of the Southern Battlegamers -- hosts of MOAB:

http://www.southernbattlegamers.org/

All the info you need should be under the MOAB link.

$35 entry

Box Rd -- Sylvania -- Off the Princes Hwy.

Entry is $20, not $35. There was a printing screwup.

Quote me anyway, and you'll only be charged $20 (or get a refund for the difference if you've already paid).
